Bosch was the longest-running Amazon Studio show on the Amazon Prime streaming service, lasting 7 seasons. Each season adapted up to 3 of Connelly's novels into interweaving cases, which means the show had adapted the bulk, but not yet all, of the books. The character had to be aged down from the Bosch of the novels since the latter was a Vietnam War vet.

2022-01-19 22:49:33 +0000 UTCYeah, I voted for Manhunter and Excalibur last time and both have dropped off... (sad face)

2022-01-19 22:13:19 +0000 UTCI would add Idiocracy as something good and light hearted. I'm still debating if its a comedy or a documentary lol.

2022-01-19 18:34:47 +0000 UTCI'll pump Manhunter again. lol. You've really liked other Michael Mann stuff you've reacted to, and Manhunter is his first. Just great movie.

2022-01-18 18:13:21 +0000 UTCLiked 'Pump Up the Volume" but nothing tops 'Heathers'

2022-01-18 18:13:14 +0000 UTCAnd of course, Jacob's Ladder also stars Tim Robbins.

2022-01-18 10:18:41 +0000 UTCPity about the Steve McQueen character introduced solely for a US audience. All the escapees from Stalag Luft III were British, commonwealth, and allied (but not US American) airmen.

2022-01-18 10:14:30 +0000 UTCThis may sound odd, but I'd recommend that you consider one of the two lowest vote getters in your list. This way you clear your list and allow those die hards to vote on the more popular ones later. I know that I will keep voting only for Jacob's Ladder until it's watched or until one of my suggestions makes the list. I still hope for Tommy Boy and at some point I'll ask for The Fisher King.

2022-01-18 02:32:10 +0000 UTCAtlanta would also be awesome to get a reaction

2022-01-17 23:20:14 +0000 UTCJames, if you are looking for a quick bingeing series to watch, I recommend Clickbait on Netflix. I think it's only 8 episodes if I remember correctly. I would love to get your take on it.
Charles Allen
2022-01-17 23:11:37 +0000 UTCI highly recommend the film Pump Up The Volume from 1990 starring Christian Slater. He has said: "While I love all my work, if I have to be known for one film, this is one I would choose." ... Let me know if you need a link to a place to watch it. No one can seem to find it streaming anywhere

2022-01-17 22:44:00 +0000 UTCDid you ever do Young Frankenstein?

2022-01-17 21:33:05 +0000 UTCThrowing “Gross Pointe Blank” out there as a Friday Rec. It’s a dark comedy, but not too dark and very funny
Sonia Deepak
2022-01-17 21:29:30 +0000 UTCThe mass escape of 76 Allied airmen from a Nazi POW camp in March 1944 remains one of history’s most famous prison breaks. Although the German Luftwaffe designed the Stalag Luft III camp to be escape-proof, the audacious, real-life prison break immortalized in the 1963 movie The Great Escape proved otherwise.

2022-01-17 21:24:14 +0000 UTCYES! He must pick this!!!
Brittyn Lindsey
2022-01-17 21:19:38 +0000 UTCI'll throw "Milk" out there again. I'm super into Shawshank/Cuckoo, can't wait!
Marsha Lynch
2022-01-17 20:54:31 +0000 UTCThe Jeff goldblum fly would sick but to fit the theme I would recommend the last castle with the late great James Gandolfini
DABSLABOG
2022-01-17 20:38:10 +0000 UTCI don't know if you seen them or not but how about The Graduate or What's up tiger lily?

M Potter
2022-01-17 19:50:24 +0000 UTCSince you watched Bone Tomahawk I'd love to see "Brawl in Cell Block 99" and "Dragged Across Concrete" in the polls!
Tim Brown
2022-01-17 19:50:02 +0000 UTCSo, Primal Fear on Friday? ;)

2022-01-17 19:49:26 +0000 UTCGonna look that up!
James Adams
2022-01-17 19:24:54 +0000 UTCThinking about tapping into this too. I’ll probably do a poll. Which one to start first..Mr. Robot or Euphoria?
James Adams
2022-01-17 19:24:43 +0000 UTCI have not seen that actually! I’ll save that though because a friend of mine did say it was a good improvement from the first!
James Adams
2022-01-17 19:24:00 +0000 UTCRight!? Love that.
James Adams
2022-01-17 19:23:21 +0000 UTCIdk if you’ve gotton this recommended alot but I think you’d fall for Euphoria so hard. The filmmaking is insane, and its hyped rn cause s2 is currently releasing weekly
McLovin
2022-01-17 19:23:10 +0000 UTCYeah I’ve been thinking about doing some more videos on films I have actually seen. Granted a long time ago. But I’d love to revisit and talk about with some experience!
James Adams
2022-01-17 19:23:09 +0000 UTCYou would enjoy Passing
Connie Tsang
2022-01-17 19:18:44 +0000 UTCHave you seen James Gunn's The Suicide Squad? If not, as good a time as any to jump into the franchise, with the very good first three episodes of the related Peacemaker show out right now. Don't need the rather bad original movie(s) either... maybe the rough premise or outline. Not that you need to blow that particular wad right away, but if you like some top-notch entertainment down the road, give it a whirl.
W T
2022-01-17 19:18:24 +0000 UTCI'd recommend into the wild, probably not well known enough to win the poll but think you'll love it
2022-01-17 19:17:14 +0000 UTCLooks like hope is the theme for this week. Very nice!
