Happy New Year Everyone!
Well it's 2026 and I'm still not done with Peasant's Quest. Who would have thought? At least The Elder Scrolls VI and GTA 6 isn't out yet:-). It has sort of become my goal to at least beat those to the punch.

Some of the earliest scenes in PQ are quite dated graphics wise compared to the latest scenes and usually lack animations. Since I'm tacking a short "break" from storytelling this update I figured I'd have some time to do something about one or two old scenes. This will consist of a re-render of the images and adding animation(s). Which girl would you prefer me to tackle first? Please cast your vote.

Well, it's been a bit over a week since v3.91 was released and I've been a bit back and forth about what to do next. My main priority of late has been to finish the baron's story and the main story. Now the main story (Qetesh/Nergal) remains, but the last two updates took their toll upon me and I'm not quite prepared to proceed with yet another large update. Below are links for higher resolution versions of the animations for Peasant's Quest v3.91.
Normal game resolution animations are at 1008x720. This package bumps them up to 1512x1080. You can install them in the game by simply copying the files into your <Game Folder>\www\movies folder. Overwrite the existing files.
It's a sizable download, so I've supplied links for both Mega and Mediafire. Pick what you prefer.

Below are the download links for Peasant's Quest v3.91. Since the full download is nearing the 5GB per day download limit of Mega free accounts, I've also added Mediafire download links.
As usual older savegames should be compatible with the new game version. Simply copy your old "save" folder to the new version. Usually found under <Game Folder>\www\save.

A new build (v3.91) of Peasant's Quest is finally ready for release. This build continues from where we left off in v3.81 by adding more content to Greyport and its castle. Yvette, Josephine and Cathrine have their stories expanded and their may even be a possibility for a rise in station for the MC.

Hi!
As some of you may know, the testbuild v3.90 of Peasant's Quest was released to the Nergalites (windows only) last Monday. So far nothing disastrous has turned up, but it was still lacking some features/mechanics/scene(s). I'm still working on the last images and animations at the moment. The release of the official version (3.91) will therefore take a few more days. The plan is to release it on Friday 5th of December at the latest.

I'm happy to report that we're finally reaching some tangible milestones. I completed my draft build yesterday, yes, that was two days after my already revised schedule, but it is what it is, I suppose.

So, I finished that last of the originally planned sexscenes last weekend (although I hope to squeeze in one more). Since Monday I've mainly focused on scripting the new events/stories. So far, things have been progressing fairly well. I think I may be able to complete most of the story elements by the end of next week.

The game resolution of PQ is set to 1004x720 and therefore all images and animations bundled with the game are at that resolution. However for the last couple of years I've been rendering both images and animations at a higher resolution and then downscaling them to 720p. This yields better imagery than natively rendering them at 720p without using more space.

Another ten days spent on images and animations. All of Cathrine's planned scenes are now done and work has started on the first of Yvette's scenes. I suppose it's time for another little sneak peek. I haven't got that much to report at the moment. I'm currently just focusing on getting the new scenes done. The images for the first two scenes are done and work on the animations is ongoing.
