2021-11-11 01:54:31 +0000 UTCMaybe you mention this in the uncut reaction (only seen the youtube one) but Terry Gilliam directed this (along with Terry Jones). As in the director of Brazil and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Terry Gilliam. He was the only American member of Monty Python.

I had not seen this in a few years and what struck me was how much the scenes directed by Terry Gilliam were inspired by the first act of Akira Kurosawa's Throne of Blood. That fog machine really became his career trademark.
