By the way, just behind the scenes info on names of Indiana, Willie, and Short Round. They are all named after the filmmakers pets. No joke. Indiana was the name of George Lucas’s dog, Willie was the name of Steven Spielberg’s dog, and Short Round was the name of the screenwriters of Temple of Doom’s dog.

2021-08-03 02:35:54 +0000 UTCThe next Indiana Jones, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, is the best of the three films, and Indy’s Dad steals the film. The third film is a father and son character study. They get none than the original James Bond, Sean Connery, to play his dad playing against type as a fish out water book academic that’s never been out in the field. Harrison and Sean have tremendous chemistry as father and son in the film. Probably the best father son duo in film history. Also, Joaquin Phoenix’s late brother, River Phoenix, plays Young Indiana at the beginning of the film.
