The big challenge with Twin Peaks is the last half of season 2. Some parts of that (like James' trip out of town) are just punishingly bad, and they use just enough of the material in FWWM and the season 2 finale that you can't just skip it.

Let’s get some Twin Peaks sometime. Seriously, I think the Return is the best show EVER MADE, it would be so incredible to see a reaction, especially with your insight on filmmaking. And hey, only 3 seasons and a movie :) Fargo’s a good watch too though, wouldn’t complain ;)

Hands down Fargo is one of the best tv series ever made. Period.

They're really not real events, they just say that. It is I've of the best written, best shot, and wonderfully underrated shows I've ever seen. For me out is right up there with True Detective (season 1) and The Wire. If I could have one show erased from my memory so I could rewatch it for the first time I'm not sure which of those three I would pick.

Is that even a question…. Yes absolutely watch this! The events are based on true stories after all which makes this even more crazy. My favorite seasons are 1 and 4. Season 2 is really cool taking place in the 70’s and involves a character from the first season. Season 3 is OK but you can’t miss watching season 4 with Chris Rock’s stellar performance. Season 4 takes place in the 1940’s and is a must watch. Actually you could watch season 4 at any time because it doesn’t tie into other seasons.

Never could get into Fargo because it’s not the Coen brothers. It’s like a wannabe Coen Bros show. Since you are into sci-fi, recommend Person of Interest or Resident Alien. Also, since you liked Wind River, recommend Yellowstone TV Series (screenwriter/director of Wind River is the creator of this show) starring Kevin Costner, Luke Grimes, Wes Bentley, Kelly Reilly, Cole Hauser, and Gil Birmingham. Think The Godfather mixed with Giant and that’s this show.

Yeah man, for sure! It’s one of my all time favourites, starts out strong and keeps improving and refining as it goes on (I’ve seen the first three series). Seasons are self contained so it always feels fresh. Cast is always fantastic, too.
