2021-05-25 06:22:56 +0000 UTCStalker, Death of Stalin, Delicatessan are all great movies but not nearly as popular as The Last Samurai and Who Framed Roger Rabbit (also a very great film, the other has Tom Cruise). Perhaps separate them in the polling to say one or two polls per month for the consistent also rans?

2021-05-25 05:03:57 +0000 UTCAnother great pole with lots of fantastic choices! I know Stalker has a low chance of winning but just seeing it being considered, warms my heart. Anyone of these choices would be brilliant and I’m looking forward to the discussions! I think it’s okay to be disappointed in the moment that a film loses a pole but we all have to remember that at the end of the day a movie losing a pole isn’t that big of a deal. I’m just glad that James is looking these movies up and is interested in them! I truly believe that the magic of film is that there is just so much to choose from and any choice is a good one. Sorry for the rant I hope everyone has a wonderful week!

And seems to be working, you would be the second to watch this, if it wins that is. The film is a technical achievement, especially considering all the hoops it had to jump through.

I think James should check out Along Came Polly since it has Ben Stiller who he really likes. I'm quite interested in how he would respond to a romcom (never saw it though).
