Don't know why but seeing your Looper video thumbnail reminded me on the film "Strange Days" - a 1995 science fiction thriller, written by James Cameron starring a "young" Ralph Fiennes, Angela Bassett and Juliette Lewis. Also starring: FREAKING MINIDISC! I hope this gem is popping up here sometime in future...

Elysium while not a bad film and has a good director was a direct rip off of the Gunnm Battle Angel Alita graphic series. If you want to showcase director Neil Blomkamp do his original movie masterpiece District 9 if you have not done so already.

He already reacted to Mullholland Drive, it was the first Lynch film he did about a year ago.

I seriously recommend you to watch some more David Lynch stuff. Mulholland Dr. and Inland Empire are my personal favorites. Lost Highway is also great, but i would leave it for later.

Yay, The Handmaiden is back on the list! And it looks like Once Upon A Time In The West is going to make it, woohoo. Elysium I found a bit disappointing but my expectations were sky high after District 9 so a rewatch might be in order.

I'm gonna be so disappointed if The Hunt doesn't win. Especially after Mads Mikkelsen's film, Another Round, won an Oscar last night.

Lincoln has another great performance by DDL but I found it very slow and dull. Wouldn’t recommend 🙃
