Beautiful boy is fantastic, but very heavy with little relief. The acting is superb and it really shows the affect addiction has on families. Hopefully it eventually wins in the future.

Apocalypto, in my opinion, is Mel Gibson's best film as a director. I was underwhelmed by Hacksaw Ridge I'm sorry to say. Might make a nice double feature with The Fountain, since they were released around the same time, are both connected to Mayan culture and both feature the same actor in a "High Priest" type role.
