One of my all time favorites. I remember going to the Blockbuster in my town as they were closing down, big film buff, heavy hearted, saw this on sale for $5. Picked it up and felt like i'd found a gem. I used to watch it over and over. Everytime I'd find something i never noticed. I lent it to a friend and never got the DVD back, but it always stuck with me. Truly an amazing film. Also, Yourmoviesucks on youtube does an absolute great breakdown on his viewing of it ( being that its one of his all time faves). Defnitely worth checking out! :D

2020-11-19 04:15:12 +0000 UTCone of my favorite movies, i'm happy you saw it and enjoyed it. incredible depth and meaning in this movie though kaufman never really explained it all. it is not a movie for everyone. many parts are incredibly interesting to me. the fact that caden's works get larger and adell's get smaller, the role reversals, the burning house. lol. this movie is a ride. catch adaptation sometime. a semi autobiography by kaufman. haha.
