Added 2021-10-14 13:36:18 +0000 UTCHey all. So the month's flown by. I've been super busy lately and haven't gotten any writing done. Which honestly isn't a bad thing, it's good for me to take breaks and recharge, else I just force it and my writing suffers. That said, what started out as a little fun challenge in programming turned into a pretty developed game. It's a simple premise, just think Lost in Space meets Aliens. It's all in ren'py, which is used for like a gazillion visual novel games, but you have skills you level up and resources to collect (food and ammo for a turret), complete item fetch quests, all while chatting it up with your family and dealing with *other* issues. I'll release a WIP version later this month. It has all placeholder art but the focus is really on the characters and the scenario. If it goes well, and people like it, I'll commission some art for it and gradually turn it into something more legit.
