Plans for the guide moving forward in 2023.

After long discussion between staff and a few select members of the discord community, a new major project for the Guide Team will be started in the near future. This project - a complete audit of the Guide - will be a major undertaking requiring a great deal of time and effort.

This audit has several aims, some of which included removing mods that might be considered bloat or mods that have modern replacements that may allow for better performance in-game. As large as the guide is, this process will likely take a couple of months.

As a result, January will be the last regularly scheduled guide update for a significant time. It is slated - at the moment - to be mostly mod updates with no significant changes and is intended to basically modernize what is already present in the guide one last time before embarking on the Audit. There is not yet a date set for this, but would likely be in the later part of the month. Once that update hits, the guide will be 'frozen' until the audit is complete and the new edition of the guide is ready for publishing.

We encourage all of you modaholics out there to take the opportunity to do something you might not have done in a while - PLAY THE GAME. We know - modding IS the game. But seriously - go have fun with it for a while. It's not gonna change for a bit after the next update. With luck and a small amount of Lexy madness, the next iteration of the guide will allow us to have an even better Skyrim experience once it's all over.
