I'm only halfway through and I'm loving this episode so much already! On the b'nai/bat/bar mitzvah translation--b'nai means "children of" bat means "daughter of" and bar means "son of" so "b'nai mitzvah" translates to "children of the commandments," "bat mitzvah" translates to "daughter of the commandments," and "bar mitzvah" translates to "son of the commandments." I would also add that "b'nai mitzvah" can be used whenever it's multiple people having the ceremony, and that those people don't need to be related to each other for it to be called a b'nai mitzvah!

people can be hilarious but if they’re not a lil silly and quirky it makes them a lot less comfortable of a person to be around. a lot of comics are hilarious but i would also be mortified to ever speak to them bc of the ~cool persona~ people love to give. embrace the cringe we all got some
