Even though some of his films are misses for me, they are all beautiful in some way. 5 Centimeters Per Second will always be my favorite, because I watched it at just the right time in life. I understand that I am mostly alone in ranking it above Your Name, though. π

2023-02-25 08:29:41 +0000 UTCWhen they had no reaction to what was on her hand (and had mentioned earlier that the text on Taki's phone wasn't translated), I was worried about that. I just went back to the CR dub to confirm that they left it untranslated. Shocking oversight. I had only ever seen this subbed from a BD import. Never occurred to me that CR would leave the on screen text untranslated.
