Nervoso are small humanoids that stand anywhere between three and four feet tall. They are brilliant yellow and feature large, puck-shaped heads with a flat top and rounded sides. Their facial features are simple, with a mouth, big expressive eyes, and a pair of eyebrows.
Nervoso have no problem speaking the languages of our timeline, and have adapted quite well to this reality. The one difference they cannot quite adjust to, however, is our relationship with fate.
The home timeline of Nervoso is one with significantly worse luck than ours. The entire species is primed for misfortune and disaster, and this gives them a uniquely anxious outlook. They are in a constant state of worry, and because of this they are often solitary creatures who live on the outskirts of society. Fortunately, every successive generation of nervosa seems to become more at ease with this world, slowly taking more risks and hopefully finding a sense of optimism for the future.
