Grompos are a species of tall, slender humanoid from a distant timeline. They stand with a slight hunch and sport a long tail that is both incredibly powerful and dexterous. Grompos are purple-skinned, with three fingers and three toes at the end of each appendage. Their heads are elongated and slightly pointy, and their eyes are large and yellow.
Grompos prefer to live in the wild, cultivating their own societies and rarely mingling with humans. It is often questioned why grompos would even come to this timeline if they are going to be so solitary, and it is rumored that they are only here due to certain natural laws that only apply to our world. In other words, they appreciate our physics, but they don’t much care for us.
Despite their secretive demeanor, we have learned quite a bit about grompo civilization through observation. The creatures are deeply inquisitive about the nature of our timeline, their behavior resting somewhere between mystics and scientists. They are constantly building strange machines that defy our understanding, then using them to perform strange rituals. When directly asked about these secretive gatherings, grompos are uniformly tight-lipped.
While no recordings have been made, there are eyewitness claims that some grompo rituals began to pull a strange, purple creature with dozens of lashing tentacles into our timeline. These attempts fail, as the grompos are not yet powerful enough. They currently remain under close surveillance.
