(Timeline Tuesday #212)
Blorps are a species of bright orange, gelatinous creatures with incredible telekinetic power. They have very few internal organs and are semi-transparent upon close inspection, the only notable features being their brilliant yellow-green eyes, which glow in the dark and connect to a small brain that is held at the center of their bulbous body. Blorps range in size, but rarely get any larger than four three feet tall. They slide around on a single pad at the base of their bodies, leaving a trail of slime in their wake.
This species has very little empathy, and they are prone to using their telekinetic powers for extreme violence on those who stand in their way. Fortunately, what they want to do with their time is both helpful… and a little unusual. Blorps love to work, seemingly existing for no other reason than to get things done.
The way this species functions once arriving on this timeline in a group is to immediately seek out a place of business. Once they find this location they will spend the first two days observing, then gradually begin to help out on various tasks. Soon enough, they may have taken over an entire wing of an operation.
Because of this strange habit, blorps garner a variety of reactions. On one hand, businesses love having them move in, particularly because they tend to be quite good at their jobs. However, the aggressive nature of these creatures makes them an enormous safety hazard.
