COLOSSAL SLUGGOTH - N/A TIMELINE (THE VOID)

A colossal sluggoth is a specific classification of sluggoth that grows over two miles in length, although they can often grow to be much larger than this. These horrific creatures are native to The Void, and are quite common in the cosmic depths, however it is rare for them to emerge onto any reality due to their incredible size. Occasionally, however, colossal sluggoths will appear on our layer of existence.

Colossal sluggoths are long, slender creatures. They are jet black, featuring a large, vertical mouth at the end of their body that is similar to that of a lamprey in appearance, and lined with sharp, jagged teeth. From the top of a colossal sluggoth’s head sprouts a mass of writhing tentacles, which it can use to catch prey before consuming these portions with its giant maw. Huge eyes line the belly of a colossal sluggoth, and they have six insect-like legs that sprout from the top of their bodies.

On this timeline, these creatures behave in a similar manner to the way they exist in The Void, with the majority of their long bodies planted deep underground. The rest of a colossal sluggoth will stick straight up, writhing back and forth as it emits voidal decay far and wide. The area around this creature will slowly begin to transform, becoming more and more like The Void as toxic nothingness spreads across the land. Plants will die, and animals will mutate into terrifying creatures. Those who gaze upon the colossal sluggoth will soon find themselves stricken with void madness.

When a colossal sluggoth appears on any timeline, immediate action must be taken. Sometimes this occurs as a military intervention, but over time it has been found that the best approach is through decisive action from timeline scientist who can quickly send this creature back into The Void with as little direct conflict as possible.
