Moworms are large, invertebrate herbivores from a nearby timeline. They are long and flat in structure, with bodies that are approximately two feet wide and eight feet long. They are pale yellow in coloration, with a lumpy, multi-humped back. The creatures have large green eyes on either side of their head, and enormous nostrils positioned at the front. Their teeth are razor sharp, positioned flat against the ground.

Using their incredible sense of smell, moworms hunt down and seek out large patches of fresh grass. They will not consume grass that has died, nor other similar garden waste such as hedge trimmings or flowerbeds. Once a moworm finds a grass patch it will get to work consuming its meal, crawling across the ground in a distinct back and forth pattern.

Despite their animal intelligence, moworms approach their task with a focused, innate logic. Instead of weaving around in a haphazard manner, this species will take its time and diligently consume every available blade.

Because of their specific diet and incredible hunger, moworms are bred on this timeline for use in landscaping. Most modern landscapers will have several moworms on duty, almost entirely replacing the need for lawnmowers. This is a great natural solution to most lawn-care needs, and has prompted the moworm to become a beloved member of most timelines they arrive on.
