Parking Enforcers are a species of sentient, intelligent robots from a nearby authoritarian timeline, although just how intelligent they are leaves much up for debate. While they can problem solve and support basic language functions, their higher thinking is limited to the topics of street parking and the laws that govern this practice. They are notoriously difficult to reason with, having trouble empathizing or understanding ideas such as family or community, unless these ideas are framed as a parking enforcement analogy.

This species has slight variation in construction from robot to robot, but for the most part they stand at approximately three feet in height. Parking Enforcers maneuver about on a wide, sturdy tread that’s propelled by an internal battery and a series of rolling gears. Their body is rectangular, with a variety of different panels and buttons across the front and sides (Some of these panels are responsible for a Parking Enforcer’s ability to consume solar energy and remain satiated). The head of a Parking Enforcer appears quite similar to a standard parking meter, however it is not used to measure time. Instead, this meter visually displays the entity’s anger or displeasure. If someone bothers one of these robots, the meter’s red hand will pin hard right. The head of a parking enforcer is also where its speech box is located, producing an awkward, static-filled vocalization.

The most frightening part of a Parking Enforcer’s design, however, is the massive two-sided axe that rests atop a long, powerful tentacle of metallic construction.

Parking Enforcers are not officially affiliated with the laws of this timeline, but are driven by a powerful desire to maintain parking order on whichever reality they arrive. They spend their days rolling through cities in search of parking violations, at which point they will immediately begin the process of locating and attacking said violator.

It is unknown how many Parking Enforcers are on this timeline, although sightings have grown rare thanks to a government program of capturing and dismantling these machines.
