Sub-slime loans are creatures that vary greatly in size and shape, due to their malleable nature. These gelatinous oozes can present themselves in a number of ways, although they prefer to take one a vaguely humanoid form, with a head and two armlike appendages. While one might consider them to be a species of invertebrate, as they do not contain a skeletal structure, they are technically the closet in similarity to a fungus.
This species is green and typically features several monetary items within its sticky, gooey form. Usually these items come in the form of bills or coins.
Sub-slime loans are from a nearby timeline with even more financial, political and economic turmoil than this one, so much so that the corruption itself lead to the mutation of the sub-slime loan as a species. The phrase “dirty money” is thrown around a lot, but in this case the cash held in a value was so sickeningly filthy that it gradually took on a life of its own.
Sub-slime loans consume money for energy, adding cash or coin to their form for energy. Eventually, the money will break down into smile, disappearing into the blob, at which point the creature will need more money to sustain its existence. Because of this, sub-slime loans can be commonly found around banks or in the walls of large corporate headquarters. These entities are very aggressive, and while they will respect those they encounter who they believe will provide them financial nourishment, they will attack anyone who they see as a threat.
