While exploring parallel timelines, we often take for granted various qualities of our reality that may or may not apply to these other worlds. For instance, travelers often imagine the basic rules of physics applying to other realities, interacting with these realms in accordance to our own experience. However, the nature of reality itself is not always as consistent as we imagine.

The home timeline of the visionali only exists as a dream, an ethereal world without the consistency we typically expect. Visionali cannot exist in the realm we consider “reality”, only taking physical form in fantasy, trance, delusion or other forms of dreamstate.

Visionali range in length from three to four feet, sporting a long, snakelike body and head. The length of their form features rows of short, finlike appendages along either side, which serve to propel the visionali forward. These creatures do not crawl, however, preferring to float through the air as though it’s liquid. The movement of a visionali’s fins creates a beautiful, wavelike effect.

The most distinct part of visionali, however, are their antlers, which drift around their head in two distinct surfaces of shimmering rainbow color.

These constantly moving organs are the vinsionali’s most powerful asset. Anyone who gazes upon these antlers will fall into a trance, succumbing to the will of the visionali. In this state, entranced viewers will perform any task the creature asks of them. In addition, visionali may project images, phrases or even abstract thoughts into the mind of their subjects. This is a visionali’s main method of communication.

Fortunately, this species rarely uses their incredible powers of persuasion for harm. Instead, they seek out the dreams of those looking for encouragement, or help kicking a bad habit. When the visionali encounters such a target, they will ask if their subject would like to change. If the target confirms, the visionali will offer help by compelling them to success.

Because they lack a tangible existence in the physical world, Visionali’s do not require food, water or sleep.
