Meetingroom table- Captain poses

Hey everyone!

A while ago I showed you my sketch for the meetingroom table, and last week I’ve been detailing that.

So, here is the final art for that scene!

Now in this scene the Captain is studying the scriptures of the Sisterhood of Sex. And when Keen walks in, she will share her findings with him as well.

At first I imagined Keen would just flip through the pages, like you see here.

But then I though... maybe I should add a magnifying glass here?

I mean, some details are pretty small right? :D

Well, let's see if I can get the magnifying glass effect working in code!

Making the art

And  below you can see again how I made these two poses for the Captain.

Later this week I also plan to make two more poses- these will be for when the Captain is just planning her day (and is what you will see during most of the game) . But I’ll let you discover those poses in game :)

Well, I hope you like the art so far!

All the best,
Robin

PS.

Something else :)

Cross promotion

In the upcomming months I want to try and promote Space Rescue a bit more (I’m just very bad at that). And the easiest way to do that, seems to be by doing cross-promotion (where two developers will promote each others game).

Now at first I didn’t like this idea at all. Because I don’t want to recommend just anything to you. But over the years I actually discoverd quite few fun games worth recommending. So, my plan is to contact those developers – and see if they want to promote Space Rescue, while I promote their game.

Well- it’s going to be a bit of an experiment- but I hope it will work out for everyone. Please let me know what you think of it- or if you have any suggestions of who to contact? :)

Thank you so much Alex, that's a great list! I actually like a lot of these games (don't know them all), so these would be perfect I think. I'll research this a bit more & see if I can contact the devs. Currently I also have a discord channel where I just promote some games I personally like; and My Pig Princess & What a Legend are already on it. I also know Dandy Boy Adventures, which I also love. So we seem to think alike! And thanks again for taking the time to help me out with this! I really appriciate it :) All the best! Robin

Hey Dave! I feel the same. It seems like a good system that not only helps the dev's, but also informs the players- if of course the games are of decent quality. So I will certainly do my best to promote games that are indeed of good quality & have a similair feel to Space Rescue. So in the first place, these will probably be colorful, fun, friendly ,easy going cartoony games... I guess, pretty much games that I would personally play :)

Robin

Hey SYH! Yes, that's correct. In this case they were the ones who invited me to do some cross-promo, and that is what actually inspired me to make this move. I quite like their games :) But they wanted to update their promo-post first, so I'm waiting for that- and then I'll do a post about their game. Should be a good start I think? :)

Robin

Cross-promotion is an excellent idea. Gives both your fans and the other game's fans a chance to see more games And I heard that w/ these it's likely both games will gain, and very few will trade one game for the other, so it's worth it Provided the other game is high quality, of course. Otherwise, we feel betrayed

I agree with MagicNuts, CyanCapsule, and 395. FEYADA is a cross-promoting machine.

Did you have a deal with Flexible Media (Paradise Lust) recently? They recommended your game last week.

The suggestions I have to contact for devs who makes games that are similar to yours with high quality standards are: -MagicNuts (Devs of What a Legend, which is a great game, but sadly the devs have been quite slow on the game for the past 2 years due to having a child or something, apparently. But there should be an update soon and the game is fun and high quality) -DandyBoyOni (Dev of Dandy Boy Adventures, another game with REAAAALLY high quality standards, fun, orginal. But then again, this one is also pretty slow on update. He's apparently waiting to publish the game on steam for his next update. It's been at least 2 years too... But the quality standard is there, and the game isn't abandoned. Oni is hard at work (maybe literally idk?) he wants his game to be perfect. (Though that seems to be slowing down updates lol) -CyanCapsule (Dev of My Pig Princess, which is another game which I would hold somewhat comparable to yours in terms of orginality/quality, though the furry element is probably turning off a lot of people. I'm not really into that myself, but I ended up giving in and trying it, it's pretty good.) -FEYADA (Dev of Knightly Passions, this is the last one I can think of. Their game is finished, I think? Again, great quality and different.) -NLT (Devs of a few amazing games, the most notable ones being Lust Epidemic, Treasure of Nadia and The Genesis Order. His games are some of the best quality, most polished/finished I've seen in the industry, and updates quite often. They've already got a few finished games and they have ALOT of content.) -395Games (Devs of Covenant of Morn previously known as children of morn, I guess they changed the name. Was probably a good idea since it's a weird name to search for that kinda game LOL. They also made the game MIST, which was great. Their games are also of great quality, and the updates are also frequent enough.) That's all I can think of right now, though. I believe the best fit would probably be Oni and MagicNuts, as they're games with the most similar appeal to yours, despite their games not being updated for so long. But it's up to whoever you choose and can reach/make an agreement with. Thanks for your hard work making quality games, and sorry for the long post :P
