Rosa's rope twist game - animations!

Hey everyone!

Besides working on the main story, I also try to occasionally finish some of the unfihished things that are left over from perevious updates.

Like for example, the minigame I made for Rosa. So in this mini-game, you will puzzle together pieces of rope on Rosa’s body. And once you succeded an animation will play (where the ropes will be pulled together). This is basically a small reward for your effords.

 Now the mini-game itself fully works, but the reward-animations were still missing unfortunately. So, this week I deceided to put some time into finishing those animations- and that's what I did.

Rosa’s butt 

Now making these animations seemed simple enough, but still there were some challenges.
Let me show you what I mean :)

My starting point is always the endresult of the puzzle. And from there on I try to add some movement, suggesting the ropes are being pulled together. But during my first attempt at this, I wasn’t really sure where to focus on. So the endresult looked rather bland; the ropes were just shaking a bit & not going anywhere.



But then I realized when you pull on ropes like this, they would probably slide inwards...and end ths up between Rosa het buttcheeks. So I gave it a try… but soon realized this was too much.

So in a third attempt, I made the inward movement more subtle, and also added a upward movement to enforce the direction of the rope-pulling. Which I think made the animation much more believable. I still might have to speed up the last few frames a bit more, but overall I quite like it now :)

Well, and after finally figuring out the butt-animation, I quickly made two more. This one is for the first puzzle you need to solve:

And this is the last puzzle, which is the fourth puzzle.

And that was all I needed to be able to finish this mini-game! So now I can finally add it to next game- update :)
