The Doctor : poses & drawing process

Hey everyone,

I hope you are all doing well :)

So this week I've been working some more on the Medbay backgrounds, but I've also been detailing the Doctors design. And that's what I wanted to show you today!

So here you can see the drawing process I went through & the final result.

Now as you might notice; pretty much at all times, I'm trying to find 'a right way' to interpet the sketch while refining it. For example, I liked the Docors hair in the sketch, but it was too detailed compared to other hairstyles in the game. So I had to find a way to simplify it, without really changing it. And that always requires a bit of experimenting.

Well, eventually I was quite happy with how things turned out. And after drawing the base pose, I made a few more variations.

Here you can see what I have so far!

The idea behind these poses was to show that the Doctor is friendly, trustworthy... and slighly timid person.

Well, I hope you like the way the Doctor turned out, and of course I love to hear what you think of it!
