(Spoilers ahead!)

I hope you are all doing well :)
Over here thing go pretty steady & I expect to finish another game update before the end of this month. But there are still bits and pieces I need to add to the game, among which several extra poses for Valerie.
So that's one of the things I worked on this week. But I'll get back on that later.
Forge Mini-game
I also promissed to share the mini game I made, so here is a first glimps of it! And as you might have expected, here you will be forging something for Yi-jie ;)

Now I was actually planning to show you how I put this game together... but I felt it would spoil some of the story. So... for now I decided to share this at a later time ( /after the game update is out).
But these are always tricky decisions , because everything is a spoiler of course ;) So, I was wondering, as being a Patron of Space Rescue what are actually your thoughts on spoilers? Do you mind seeing spoilers... or not at all?
Well, I'd love to hear your opnion on this ! Perhaps I should not be so concerned with spoiling things, and just show you all I can? Let me know ;)
Map improvements
Meanwhile I worked on a few more things as well. For example, together with Rob (programmer) I've been trying to make some map-improvements. Because it occured to me that new players sometimes had trouble navigating the map & finding characters.
So, I had 3 ideas on how to improve the map-navigation (Which were based on your comments by the way!)
1. Visually close of rooms that you can't enter - for now I made these grey.
2. Show where Keen is. So you know where the room is that you just left.
3. Add a character image next to the room name, so you know who is where.
Now, idea 1& 2 are already implemented & will be in the next update; and idea 3 will be included next time.
Here you can see how it will come together.

Oh, and then there is another improvement, which is a bit more subtle. I added a little shine (and a sound) to the items you get. This is to make 'geting things' a bit more rewarding. I actually planned many more of these small 'experience improvements', and I hope to be able to implement more of them soon :)
Adding this, was part of a code-improvement. Code-wise the whole inventory system has now been optimized, and it's much less work to add a new item to the game. Thank you Rob!

Valerie undressing
Well, and there are the new poses for Valerie :) These poses will be used in the dialog after the XXX-scene with Valerie, where she will be dressing herself again.
In a way these poses are tricky to draw, because I'm always bound to the girls 'base-pose'. But also fun, because it gives me another chance to show a bit more of their personality .Now Valerie is quite confident, so I tried to bring that back into these poses as well. Here you can see the sketches I made for this sequence.
So... this is not an animation, although it might appear that way :) These poses will be mixed with some dialogs.

The next step is to refine the sketches again. And in this case it was just easiest to draw Valerie nude and go on from there - yeah, it's not the worst job I must admit : }

Well, that gif is a bit confusing right? So here is the final result!
This image itself, won't be in the game by the way -it's just a starting point for the drawing proces.

Next
So, next I will be finishing up the game. And I must say; it's still great to be able to work on this every day. And I very well realize, I can only do so because all of you.
