And this also means that it’s the 1st anniversary of Space rescue :)
Twelve months ago, I had just started this project and I had no idea how it would do...
I had no experience with Patreon,
with Ren’py (the game engine)
...or with making adult games.
But hey, I just felt like doing this! So I dove into it all & started working out a concept. And after I felt I had something fun, I started to put it all together and made a first demo. Yep, those were several lonely months behind my pc :}
But once I released it to the world, people soon got excited & even joined my Patreon page! And throughout the year that made all the difference. The game came to life & this made the production so much more fun! Reading all the feedback made me really motivated and I just want to make more & more :)
So, really... thanks again for all your support & enthusiasm toward Space Rescue!
Well, now a year has passed & things have shaped up quite a bit since the first demo. At first there was just a short bit of linear story, but at the moment there is about 2+ hours of gameplay & the game has become fully interactive.
The core mechanics are also in place (gather minerals → print & collect items --> fix things → claim your reward…) and there are already quite a few locations, characters and xxx-scenes present in the game. I’d say, so far, so good!
Now my plans for this year are simple; I like to add as many characters, locations & story to the game as possible; so Keen has more to…. ehh- explore! :)
