Exactly what I want to say even though you said it better. The will to go on when all seems lost 💜

This isn't so deep but I'd go with Lee Ji An in My Mister, and Jang Geu Rae in Misaeng, and Park Seoroyi in Itaewon Class, and and and...so many others who've showed that sometimes hope looks like just getting up in the morning and continuing to put one foot in front of the other until you can see a little further ahead. Like showing up for your loved ones even when you feel like you're not enough. Like enduring through hard times even when you know you can't hold on to everything important, even when you fail in meaningful ways. It can be hard to find meaning in the day to day muddling through, one thing I really love about Kdramas is lifting up how much each step is worth.

My answer is more general: it’s about the acceptance and tolerance of wounded/obnoxious family members/found family/community etc. I have a cousin I used to argue with a lot and even stopped talking to him for few years. He visited me this summer and I was a bit worried. Although in general I am a pretty forgiving person and don’t hold grudges… but I also thought about this acceptance/tolerance we see in kdramas and decided to do a little self experiment. I decided to just do my best to accept him and stay in a loving place/mind frame. Yes, he went into obnoxious mansplaining and I just calmly said I disagree or stopped him gently and it worked! He didn’t push too far and I stayed mellow. My husband was impressed because he was even getting annoyed. One character who does this is FL Hye Jin in Hometown Cha Cha Cha when she eventually accepts and grows fond of town gossip Nam Suk, who has a painful past. Sometimes it’s the little side plots/human interactions that make a big impression on me.
