So my watching in 2025 is currently a “best of times and worst of times”. Some shows I’ve been super meh on and then a few have been top faves.
A few ppl recommended Mask Girl to me at just the right moment and I’m all innnnnnn. It’s hitting every plot high note for me and everyone is acting their ass? mask? off! I am in love with Nana as well.
I paused Genie and may or may not go back …but Typhoon Family and Would You Marry Me are also calling my name.

JUST MAKEUP on Prime brings together a wide range of Korean makeup artists - from veterans of stage, fashion, and Kpop to young influencers who find themselves competing against their heros. I’m only on episode 2 but the drama is palpable - there’s no predicting who will stay and who will go when the judges come by. Highly recommend if this is something you enjoy

2025-10-26 00:39:37 +0000 UTCBest wishes to everyone for an enjoyable weekend! My watching has been all over the place, but enjoying TYPHOON FAMILY. I finished LOVE'S AMBITION. The last few episodes I multi-tasked as they played, which happens when I feel the story line gets too wonky. Still enjoyable; Zhao Lu Si is incredible, and I would recommend. I started RESET the Thai BL; liking it quite a bit so far. The ML gets a do-over in his life along the lines of MARRY MY HUSBAND. Loving WOULD YOU MARRY ME! It's just the rom com I need right now with great actors who I adore. The twist in ep4!! Eating it up!! K-drama trope delivered!! I saw that YUMI'S CELLS 3 is scheduled for early 2026 (February, I think) so I decided to do a re-watch of season 1 and 2. I forgot how much I enjoyed season 1! Great story, great acting, tight (14 eps), and pulls you right in - laugh, cry, all the feels!! And I absolutely adore season 2 ML actor, Park Jin Young, and the character he plays. I still shout, "Babi!!" when I see him on another show or on my feed. However, I forgot how much I disliked the turn the story took at the end of season 2 (angry grumbles) - I still have two episodes to go in season 2 and I'm not sure I will keep going; why torture myself?!? I love Babi too much. After all that re-watching, I now feel prepared for Yumi's cells season 3. Fingers crossed it delivers a great story. I guess I could track down the comic, but I fear that would decrease the enjoyment of the drama. From reading all of your comments here, I am thinking of starting FATED HEARTS, but I still need to finish WHEN DESTINY BRINGS THE DEMON and REVENGED LOVE. So happy to be here in this community sharing with you all!!
