Friday Watch Day

I’m coming at you live from the burrow nest I’ve created on my couch. I’ve been on-call this week and let’s just say after hours has been a lot… and I’ve been sick. And I’m singing the pity blues. But that technically means I’m not that sick because when that happens I a) go into insensible flu fugue state where I can’t summon energy to complain and b) write 3-4 chapters of a book in a fever dream.
Anyway, I digress. I’m watching Genie, Make a Wish and I’m kinda into it! It isn’t destroying my life, but I haven’t tapped out. Amy is finishing My Youth (loves it) and Megan is watching and enjoying Typhoon and My Youth and just finished Queen Mantis which she loved too.
I’m considering starting Mask Girl sooner rather than later. Megan keeps recommending to me and a Patreon member made a good sales pitch. Not a romance but it is creepy seasons so kinda fits the vibes.
If anyone in US is going to protests tomorrow— stay safe! I am going to pick out a costume today :)

Just starting ep3 of genie and surprised at how interesting the set up is. Trying to burn through a couple more episodes to catch up to the watch party. I like how the FL isn’t this damsel in distress nor is she being portrayed as innocent off the bat. Looking forward and hopeful to where this could go
