I bet we could patron-source an amazing list. Or do something similar in a standard pod: pick a few classic couples and support your case for them making it long term or not with a deeper dive into character compatibility and how that’s depicted.

In fact, the absence of one in a drama that has a love line is my tip-off that the drama's looking to be something other than a romance. Because right: without having to fight for this love, where are the stakes? They’ve gotta be elsewhere. I did not know about this “no third act breakup” movement among younger romance audiences. Hot take: It strikes me as babyish.
