In fairness they didn't have to choose in the end. They could have chosen themselves. I'm really suprised JiSu didn't choose that option. Seung Li was not a great match for her.

2025-08-22 09:24:07 +0000 UTCIt’s interesting, before listening to the pod I didn’t even consider how harmful it was to have everything culminate to coupling up and leaving together with someone in the end. I think forcing them to choose was the only reason two couples even left together. It especially didn’t seem reasonable to me that Jisu would actually choose to leave with Seungli. I wonder how the show runners could set up the end differently in season 2 though…
