Afternoon Uncensored

Tomorrow we are recording the April Uncensored. What topics would you like covered, or any unburdenings to share?

I like the idea of “drop rules”! I’ve gotten better about dropping dramas that aren’t working for me, but I’ll have to think if that choice tends to follow a certain pattern or rules.

(inspired by a comment on the taxing post). Should we have a checklist of when to drop / when to continue? I recently finished a couple of dramas which I really wanted to drop but I finished because a couple of friends (who generally have similar taste) liked them. But I need to make some firm "drop" rules for myself. For me it will have something to do with not being able to make an emotional connection with the characters and plot machinations which take me out of the drama.

On a related note, I’ve been getting more and more concerned about who will be cooking all the food once all the ajummas have aged out? Seems like none of the younger generation knows how to cook (or do their own laundry, but that’s another conversation).

What is your favorite Kdrama dining/drinking scene and are you craving any particular Kdrama food? I enjoy watching characters interact through a meal as well as learning more about Korean cuisine. Some of my favorites include the CLOY clambake scene, the all you can eat crab scene in WWWSK, and Jo Ji-ah cooking for Kim Min-kyu in I am not a Robot. I am craving Pajeon tonight!
