Added 2023-12-22 17:05:12 +0000 UTCI’m in a weird place where this week I just could not mentally commit to starting a drama which is rare for me. I think it’s writing deadlines, mixed with holidays, mixed with post BTS enlistment blues.
So I haven’t started one yet but I am itching too! However, that doesn’t mean I’m not FULLY caught up on Singles Inferno 3 and what I regard as the best season to date. I’m really loving men being held accountable and I have a def favorite Lee Jin-seok is my overall pick even factoring in the women which surprises me. But if he ends up being the real deal and not a creep I’m so invested in the straight dealing! lol.
How about you? What are you watching?

I love that we live in a world where it’s normal to say “grumpy sunshine chaebol romcom with time travel” because who wouldn’t want more of that?

2023-12-23 22:08:32 +0000 UTCLoving Singles Inferno 3. Im all in for Jin Seok too and cheered when he got chosen for paradise by the new girl. Gwan Hee is a dick but he’s an entertaining one 😂 I burned through all the Death’s Game episodes and loved it, now await the second part. Pickup Parks Marriage and binge watched it so am now up to date. I’m a bit of a sucker for grumpy sunshine chaebol RomCom with time travel so this is working for me, even though I could pick plenty of holes with it, I don’t. Still watching Good Day to be a Dog but this historical back story is sooooo dull. This is the same webtoon author as See You in My 19th life and she evidently likes these past lives reincarnation, have to forget them to move on type stories. I’d drop it if we weren’t so close to the end. Up to date on Samdalri but still don’t really like it Watching Love All Play, which was enjoying but has got a bit draggy so I need it to rediscover some of its verve. However Chae Jong Hyeop’s smile is everything and the Crown Prince from My Dearest is in it being a bit of a lovable dick so I’m enjoying him too. Also ploughing through The Law School which is the perfect I’ve got 10 mins to watch something but don’t want to get hooked drama. I am due to start Nirvana in Fire for an upcoming podcast so I may start that one soon!

2023-12-23 21:58:02 +0000 UTCI wanted something shorter and lighter so I tried Love to Hate You and burned through it. Really enjoyed it! I was invested in all the characters. I was just as interested in the second leads as the main couple. And I appreciate that they didn’t add filler storylines to make it longer. I may try The Matchmakers next. All the positive comments have me wanting to check it out even though I gravitate to the contemporary kdramas more than the historicals.
