Not K-drama...but Bookish

I made a commitment to read more this year. I used to read ALL the time. Then dramas came for me. Then BTS ran a bulldozer through my life. But I AM reading more..about 2 a month which is either nothing or a lot depending on your own reading preferences (I used to read a book a week or more so it's been a downturn).

What are you reading at the moment...or if it's nothing...a book you're looking to start?

I'm currently reading Eat The Buddha: Life and Death in a Tibetan Town by Barbara Demick. It's very well written and researched. I was riveted by another of her books earlier last mont-- Nothing To Envy -- which is about North Korean defectors.

Let's fill our bookshelves!

I just recently finished 50 Words for Rain by Asha Lemmie, Sissy by Jacob Tobia and Coming to my Senses by Alice Waters. My next read is The forgotten Girls by Monica Potts. I really like non fiction though 50 words is fiction based on history.

I've always been a big reader, but not so much into romance... However this pod inspired me to try the genre! I just finished Shipwrecked by Olivia Dade and absolutely loved it. ❤️
