Still on a World Cup high

Okay so if you follow our Instagram, you know that I (Megan) and Lia were glued to the TV watching the World Cup and particularly cheering on South Korea. I've been a fan of Son Heung Min for a few years now, and it was amazing watching him lead his team!

Anyway, Cho Gue Sung is sort of the breakout start of Korea's team since the World Cup, mostly because he's attractive as heck, AND he scores goals. Anyway, I just saw he's going to be on an episode of I Live Alone. He wakes up with a stuffed duck, showers, works out, and plays with his nephews? Hell yes. God bless whoever cast him for this show.

And it kinds of ties in to our episode out today! If you're in a slump, there's tons of fun K-content that is low on commitment, like reality shows like this. :) Did anyone else watch the World Cup? Did you cheer for SK? I might have cried with them when they beat Portugal.

Still on a World Cup high

Haha we are also a big soccer/football family! Do you root for a Premier League team?

Megan Erickson

Soccer is football in this house (and this country) and my boys (8 & 6 yo) are football crazy. My oldest constantly has a ball at his foot and we have lost two light bulbs to indoor football related incidents since the tournament started. He had Argentina in his World Cup sweepstakes so we had a good time on Sunday and were pleased with the win! ... My boys are huge Ronaldo fans 🤢 so I couldn't openly cheer on SK but I was really rooting for them on the inside! ... I love that a show called I Live Alone exists and I really can't wait to watch it. I like what I see so far. 😏

Haha perfect! Since Messi was the biggest news of the World Cup, you were good 😂

Megan Erickson

OK I must admit I do not follow soccer, but what I do know about soccer and famous soccer players was learned from a k-drama, Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-Joo when Kim Bok-Joo and her friends used the phrase, "Do you like Messi?" as a pickup line. Funny enough, I used that line to join in the many conversations about the world cup circling around me.
