2024-11-29 23:02:12 +0000 UTCWow. I LOVE this depiction of Durge's almost-not-quite flashback! First, just little cracks in the void of his memories as he goes "Wait.. I feel like ...wasn't there..." and then BAM! in an instant, blurry images, fragments of thoughts, notions and actions that are so disorderly and fleeting that they are impossible to make sense of beyond "there WAS something". I'm really looking forward to see where you're taking this story thread next! Like, if just mentioning Karlachs name stirred something in Durge, what's going to happen if they actually meet? And will Karlach recognize him too? Although, considering Durge was often wearing a cloak back then and that Karlach went through literal hell for ten years in the meantime, it wouldn't at all be strange for her to no longer remember him clearly.
