SPOILERS FOR MLSHR AND TKEM: Dude- I wouldn't say it is my top 3, but it is one that I think about A LOT, to the point where I'm reading fan fic. (Ok, so maybe top 5 or 10. I mean, it takes up space in my head rent-free, just like the GOAT scene from The King Eternal Monarch.) MLSHR's ending killed me. KILLED. ME. The final shot where LJG's just looking into the camera...DAMN.

SEMI-SPOILERS BELOW: This show totally came in and wrecked my existing top 3... and also wrecked me! Like wow. It might actually be my top drama tbh. My emotions are all over the place and I'm not gonna lie I think this drama will likely end up being my first re-watch ever (at some point). I literally miss the characters so much already. Sheesh. I need a drink! Why do I do this to myself!

2022-11-02 06:40:58 +0000 UTCI’m struggling with this one! I enjoyed the drama while it was airing, but I just don’t get why it needs to be so long and why the gap until season 2. Maybe I’m too fickle, but as more time passes I’m actually less excited for season 2 - not more. Shouldn’t it be the other way around? I’ll still watch, but they need to win me back (which seems tough with 10 episodes and a new female lead).

So latest one for me is Kang Hyung Suk, who I am in love with as the Gay BFF in Love in Contract (and previously the bumbling policeman in Hometown CCC). He is, for the tiniest of moments, in Itaewon Class, and I recognised him even though he was surgically masked up as he was about to nefariously inject one of the characters in a hospital. And my thanks go to MyDramaList and AsianWiki for always telling me what dramas the person was in previously for those moments I can't quite tell who it is

2022-10-31 14:29:23 +0000 UTCI’m realizing that what some of my very favorite dramas have in common is that they are basically soap operas: Heirs, Moon Lovers Scarlet Heart Ryeo, Love is for Suckers, Uncontrollably Fond. I wish this knowledge was useful for finding others I like. Lol. But it doesn’t seem to be. Luckily, they aren’t exclusively what I like.

2022-10-31 04:00:18 +0000 UTCSorry – I just thought of something I need to unburden: I enjoyed most of Law Café, but there were a couple things that happened in ep 15 that really took me out of the drama, and I’m wondering if anyone else had a problem with it. ***SPOILER*** In the scene on the church steps, the psycho uncle only had a knife and for several minutes he was standing while Jeong Ho (his hostage) was lying on the ground. I honestly can’t tell you any of the dialogue from that scene because I was talking over them saying why don’t the police shoot him or rush him or in some other way take him down??? I’m not a gun supporter, but there were lots of police on the scene and the camera panned over a SWAT vehicle. Did this bother anyone else?

2022-10-31 03:34:26 +0000 UTCI’m watching All of Us Are Dead. Yesterday I got through ep 1 in a single sitting and I didn’t need to use the pause button even once (which is really good for me). But today I started ep 2 and about 30 minutes in I needed to nope out, at least for a while. I decided to put on something fun and calming, but I’m caught up on all shows and new episodes won’t drop for a few days, so I decided to go back to I’m Not a Robot. I watched ep 3, where Kim Min Kyu is testing the AG3 (really Jo Ji Ah), and it was the perfect antidote to my zombie anxiety.

2022-10-30 22:57:59 +0000 UTCWas Alchemy of Souls good? I didn't binge but i did keep watching and i didn't even struggle once I realized it was never going to be a proper comedy. But it felt like they spent so much on tech that the dialogue, plot, and characters are missed out on some resources that would have given that spark of life - something to take it was watchable to repeatable. Anyone else?
