It's no longer the weekend but I wanted to mention how much I am loving Cheer Up as well as the end of Law Cafe and the start of Love is for Suckers. So many good dramas out there!

2022-10-13 05:38:52 +0000 UTCI'm not loving The Nokdu Tale as much as I wanted to, Kang Taeoh as the 2nd ML is great, it's funny, it checks many of my boxes but I'm not invested in the plot and the love story enough. I don't know if I should push through to see if the plot picks up later or if I should drop it. I've been in a mood to watch darker stuffs lately, maybe that's the reason. Despite the murders, the tone is pretty light, maybe that's what isn't working for me. Speaking of something darker, I've started The smile has left your eyes, because of a tumblr post that said the MLs in Rain or shine and this drama were pretty similar and, to my delight, they were right. With this drama I'm using the learning mode on Viki for the first time, I don't know if other Korean learners here have tried it. I can't read all the hangul fast enough but I still recognise words here and there, it's fun ☺️

2022-10-09 06:42:31 +0000 UTCI also had to take a break midway through, but for me it was to get some ice cream! At the start of this episode I thought "All is lost!" and at the end I was cheering! No spoilers - maybe my cheering was just due to a sugar rush😉! The last episode will probably have more twists and turns but I'm hopeful for a happy ending.

Youth MT - I suddenly have a bunch of new dramas to watch after falling in love with all of these actors!! Vincenzo - watching this for a second time with my partner and loving seeing his reactions to all the twists!

2022-10-08 15:45:38 +0000 UTCI have been traveling this week, so didn’t watch much, but I did catch up with The Law Cafe, which is VVG, and Young Actors’ Retreat. I will catch up with the new Park Min Young drams when I get home. That one intrigues me, as it’s not at all what I expected.
