She liked our Host Tastes episode and suggested we do a Patreon Tastes post. I’m going to make it a series! So today I’ll post the first question and please play along!
Question: Share your zodiac sign and a brief description. Is it accurate?

Like Alys, I’m both late to the party and a Leo. I don’t think that’s one of our traits though. 😉 For me, Leo brings to mind being outgoing, theatrical, loving the limelight, etc. and I’ve never really related to that well. Maybe there’s a part of me that can be like that with my closest friends, but in general I’m a total introvert. (Shout out to Susan Cain’s book, Quiet, which offers a great take on introverts). I’ve never really gotten into my astrological sign though, so maybe there are other traits I’d relate to more. Next stop: figuring out my blood type. 😂

2022-05-22 20:35:20 +0000 UTCI missed this yesterday. I am a Leo and it fits me pretty well I think, except that I am a mix of introvert and extrovert. I lived in Miami for a while and I recall thinking before I moved away that I desperately wanted to escape the crowds of other people everywhere, rush hour traffic, etc. It was a really visceral feeling of being suffocated and it made me realize how much I value my own space. Where I live now is a nice compromise of urban and access to nature.

They're determined and bold, and are good at initiating new projects. They have high energy and can initiate quick actions. Also here is the personality breakdown: Along with being creative and very imaginative, they are very kind and sympathetic. Aries natives are very punctual and keep everything well planned. 2022-05-22 00:01:20 +0000 UTCLibra here, but I do not relate to many Libra traits. I do, however, very much relate to the Libra trait of seeking harmony in relationships. And maybe that is why second chance romances and slice of life/family dramas are my jam. There is a way that those dramas take you through the characters' growth and reconciliation/closure that I find very satisfying.

In additional to being devoted, Cancers are extremely fond of their loved ones, often to an unhealthy degree. They place a high value on family and close friends, and will go to great lengths to defend them, no matter the price. Yikes – I might have the makings of a meddlesome and controlling Kdrama mom! It’s true that I am a bit emotional and would fight to the death to protect my daughter (think, Mrs. Weasley when she fought Bellatrix Lestrange in the Deathly Hollows), but I'm not spiteful. 😂

2022-05-21 20:44:02 +0000 UTCYay love that it’s a series! Haha I don’t really believe in the Zodiac but I do actually find description of my sign, Sagittarius, quite apt. Strengths: Generous, idealistic, great sense of humor Weaknesses: Promises more than can deliver, very impatient, will say anything no matter how undiplomatic Sagittarius likes: Freedom, travel, philosophy, being outdoors Sagittarius dislikes: Clingy people, being constrained, off-the-wall theories, details (This is all true except being outdoors, I’m not especially outdoors-y - I like it but happier at home 😁)
