I loved him in The King Eternal Monarch.

I'm in between dramas at the moment, but I have been watching the variety show Busted! on Netflix in my downtime. It has my kdrama queens Park Min young, Kim Sejeong, and EXO's Sehun. My husband has been glued to his playstation but said he can hear me laughing out loud even when we are on different floors of the house. It's great because you can watch one episode and not get hooked into binging them all since each episode is a different murder mystery being solved. It's stupid fun and highly recommend!

I'm not starting anything because I am heading to Vegas for BTS and have acute BTS fever. I can't focus on anything else, and you may be able to relate if you had to catch your breath at Taehyung's pic above. I might have to watch the first ep of Our Blues to hear Jimin's new song! The only exception was I watched a quick "palate cleanser" k-drama that I saw pop up on Viki because I love contract marriage tropes/plots. It was called Ending Again. It totals about 3-4 hours. Nothing too heavy or complicated if that's what you need right now.

Goblin. Watching for the first time and I will never be the same ❤️❤️❤️

I started watching Run On about a week ago and I’m down to the final 4 episodes. As mentioned on the podcast, the second lead couple are more interesting than the lead couple and I agree. The SML (Young Hwa played by Kang Tae Oh) has such a charming smile – now I’ll have to find another show to see more of him. I think Run On is just what I needed after all finales over the past week. It’s been nice and steady – not much emotional catharsis or laugh out loud comedy but I’m enjoying it.

I have a question about Lee Min Ho. I know a lot of people love him. I’ve now seen 70 dramas and am just starting my first of his (Blue Sea). Which drama is it of his that made you a fan? He’s dreamy in this for sure. I just watched the movie Inner Beauty which I loved (now that’s a satisfying ending) and I enjoyed all the many cameos. Looking forward to Soundtrack and Our Blues (is that the name?)

Waiting for subtitles to start Again My Life, and thinking about giving Tomorrow a try. Want to watch Pachinko, but waiting for all episodes to become available. Also considering a VPN so I can watch Soundtrack #1.

I looovvved JCW in Lovestruck....one of my favourites too!

I finished Uncle which was great. Oh Jung-se is phenomenal in his role. He really is such a diverse and skilled actor. I loved him in IOTNBO and thought I wouldn’t be able to see him as any other character because he played a man with autism so well, but Uncle along side the child actor Lee Kyunghoon is just lovely and sweet. Finished 39 and was so disappointed, ugh…. But just started Mr Sunshine and am feeling the feels of something very good to come🤞 And lastly but not the least, JCW , Suspicious Partner, chemistry between him and FL is joyful to watch Basically JCW has great chemistry with all his co stars. Especially in Lovestruck in the City, truly one on my favorites that I watch in snack bite size pieces whenever I get to missing him😍

Deb

The guy that plays the older brother in Kim's Convenience, Simu Liu, then went on to be the lead actor in Shang Chi.

Hope you are feeling better! Another Oh Hae Young has some really good bits, but was an emotional roller coaster for me. I just wanted to drop a comment to assure you there is a HEA, bc I wasn't sure there would be when I watched it, and I think that is a big part of why it put me through the wringer.

Finished 25-21, have posted my thoughts in the spoiler thread so won't spoil it further here but I loved 90% of the drama ;p I've been on COVID recovery so have had tons of time for KDrama (COVID bonus) so I burned through Business Proposal - LOVED, LOVED, LOVED IT but they fumbled the end... then went straight onto Her Private Life as needed something lighthearted. Loved being able to lap up the visual feast that is Kim Jae Wook and he had great chemistry with Park Min Young, I really enjoyed it! Now I'm on Another Oh Hae Young, which is taking me awhile to get into. I might start as my live dropping drama Again My Life, since I will never say no to Lee Joongi doing cat-like action moves!

I’m on episode 6 of 25-21 and am going to try to get through as much as I can this weekend. Really wish I’d started it sooner, because it’s almost impossible to avoid spoilers at this point… I’ve already seen too much. 😂 Loving it so far, and I’m pretty sure it’s going to break my heart. This drama falls into the camp of, “I had no idea I’d be into a show about…” fencing, weightlifting, MMA (I’m looking at you, Fight For My Way). That’s probably one of the things I love most about KDramas so far.

Nicole H

Not a k-drama, but started Kim's Convenience - my sister who refuses to watch k-dramas loved it. Definitely feels like I'm coming into it with a different perspective, which only makes it better. I've been a big fan of the leisurely pace and lack of drama from Canadian shows since Little Mosque on the Prairie. Much in the same vein as Run On, imo
