Go Back Couple
Added 2021-11-24 16:36:41 +0000 UTCOkay so thanks to our very own Grace, Lia and I (Megan) watched Go Back Couple and Amy is currently watching it. In short, Lia and I loved it. Amy is currently loving it, and it's truly an underrated gem. To recap: It's about a couple who has reached a breaking point and agreed to a divorce who are suddenly thrust back in time to their 20-year-old selves when they first met. It's funny (lots of over-the-top physical comedy from the cast), full of tender moments, and as a married mother, I felt very seen and could relate 100% (Because the kicker is they have a kid together).
We will be doing a deep dive on this for sure. Have any of you seen it? It's only 12 episodes so if you want to watch it, add it to your watch list so you are ready for our deep dive!

I'm (Amy) currently on episode 8 and still loving it! I cannot wait to deep dive this, especially since I'm the divorced girl of the group and am sort of watching through a different lens. Thank you to Grace for putting this one on our radar!

And I am so so happy that all of you enjoyed/are enjoying it ❤️ Divorced couples who find their way back to each other is one of my absolute favorite tropes. Other dramas with that trope that I have enjoyed: Fated to Love You, Cunning Single Lady, Once Again. It's also in Hometown Chachacha and Camellia, with side couples 😉 By any chance does anyone have other recs with that trope? Also, I just started reading Amy's Bloom Girls last night and it looks like I am going to get the same trope in that book too! I am very much enjoying it so far, btw 😍
