2021-10-11 15:49:12 +0000 UTCMy husband and I met at a bookstore/coffee shop. Insert lots of flirting over the espresso machine. When I worked up the nerve to ask him on a date he didn't realize we were on a date. So I decided to make a "summer bucket list" for us and created a list of dates to go on. He caught on after that! :) I'm seven years his noona so there was "mild drama" while he worked through the age difference. It all worked out and 10 years later we are still together.

About a month later he moved into the house across the street from me. Mind you these houses were on a very narrow road, effectively an alleyway, so it was hard not to run into him. No second chance romance for us but it was very much KDrama what are the chances.

I recently cut my hand opening a can, and my husband brought me to the bathroom, cleaned up the cut, and put a bandaid on it. It was nothing for him because he is a first responder, but I was caught off guard, because he's never done that for me before. And I literally had the thought while it was happening: this is a kdrama moment.

And lost but then next year tried again and then I won! And I’ve been a locally elected politician since. But not sure that’s v KDrama given its only 1 KDrama which I haven’t yet watched 🤣

2021-10-05 15:36:09 +0000 UTCSo this question had be pondering for ages, as I didn’t meet my husband via a shared traumatic childhood, or hate him on sight, nor has he given me a back hug or a piggyback…… But I have had second lead syndrome, falling heavily for a guy who chose another girl (sniff) when obvs, I am wonderful?

2021-10-05 15:33:40 +0000 UTCMore of a telanovela plotline: while backpacking (on another trip) from Asia to Europe I walked onto a plane and walked past my roommate (in the USA). Knowing that she has an identical twin, I assumed that's who it was and introduced myself. Both she and the twin (who I later met formally) claim it was the twin I met on the plane. To this day I'm only 90% sure they're telling the truth.
