Concerns about the future

Wanted to talk to you about something.

Patreon recently dropped another "rules" bomb.

You don't have to read it all. This is my main problem:

Isn't it great that now there will be my fucking FACE and passport connected to the game I'm making, "totally secure" somewhere on the net?

I mean, I already sent a photo of my passport to Paypal, but apparently that's not enough. Now Patreon itself also needs my face. They can't take Paypal's word that I'm 18+?

This whole thing was my biggest concern when I started making this game. I had to get over myself: that it's a one-way journey for my privacy. And now this is just yet another metaphorical brick wall that I have to consider how to deal with.

I'm sitting here thinking about solutions.

One way to solve this, is to make this page absolutely clean, safe-for-everyone:

no mentions of what I do, no mentions of news, updates, no links to the game, nothing. Not even links to my other socials, once it's clean.

This will be just a blank page that says "Support AdventAnyx" and "I post cringe memes". All news, announcements, download links and everything else would be somewhere else. When it's time for another update, I'll just post a random meme (with Esther! 😆 ) without any context, and you'd know to check my other socials (which you have to know about already).

This is probably a good time to stop being a boomer and finally get my own discord server. But maybe not. I'm easily distracted, and my own server will fuck up my already weak productivity; I just know it. I don't want it.

Maybe F95 topic will do just fine? Yes, it's a pirating site, and a simple forum. But I'd rather abandon all paywall features and live off of the support of people who simply like the game, than have my stupid face attached to my passport and this game on the internet.

Alternative way, is to break yet another brick wall with said stupid face. Fuck it; give in, hope for the best, "totally secure, bro, trust us bro", and all that. Not feeling so good about that, be honest with you. Maybe I'm just over-panicking.

Will you read my updates somewhere else? I won't have to restrict myself with posting lewds like I do now (when I do public posts). I probably won't even need to restrict the content I'm making! I know several creators here evade being banned by simply not mentioning their loli-dating sims on their pages.

Will you unsub from $2-tier because it's what keeps you interested - said lewds, subs-only posts, previews, spoilers?

Technically, I would still be able to hide early releases (and cheat-codes) behind the paywall, to earn slightly more for a few weeks when a new patch drops. But I won't be able to tell you about it on this page.

On the other side, I'd be out of NSFW-zone, so this new (blank) page would be searchable via Patreon search-engine... Meh.

But anyway. These are my concerns. What do you think?
