We stood in front of the door but we heard some sniffing coming from the inside.

''Do you hear that?'' Nina asked me.

''Yeah, sounds like someone is crying,'' I replied.

''Do you think it's Maddison?'' I asked.

''I think so, would be a bit scary if there was another person crying behind that door,'' Nina replied.

Nina knocked on the door,

''Maddison? Are you okay?''

The sniffing stopped and it was silent for a bit.

Nina gave me a worried look, and we entered the room. Maddison was sitting on the bed. She seemed to have just gotten out of the shower, as her hair was still wet and her face was a bit red. It was clear to see that see just cried but it looked like she tried to hide it.

''Are you okay?'' Nina asked.

Maddison was looking at us with a smile and nodded,

''Yes, why wouldn't I be?''

Nina was giving her a worried look and said,

''You seem to have been crying.''

Maddison quickly waved it away,

''Oh, no, no, it's nothing. My allergies are acting up, and my nose was running. Don't worry about it, really.''

She gave us a big smile and a thumbs up.

''Okay, well, if you say so... If there is anything you want to talk about, or whatever, we are here for you, okay?''

Maddison stood up and walked towards us,

She was looking in the mirror, and it looked like she was trying to convince herself.

Man, this building was stunning. I don't even want to know how much this must have cost. We walked into the lobby and were greeted by a friendly receptionist. The building had marble floors and was very grand. We entered the elevator and were taken to the 5th floor. As the doors opened, we followed Isabela and Gerard to the door and we gave it a knock. We entered their apartment and it was amazing. I don't think I have ever seen a more gorgeous apartment before. The apartment was very wide and had big windows, there were plants, a lot of light, and the furniture looked like it was straight out of a catalog. It was all very elegant and the place had a classy vibe. There were two big chandeliers, and the floors were wooden with white walls were filled with beautiful paintings. The ceilings were tall and it felt very spacious.

''Carlos is getting some desserts, we almost forgot,'' Daniela smiled.

Daniela walked through the apartment and showed us their room, and then the guestroom,

''If someone is to drunk tonight, they can stay here,'' she joked.

Then she showed us the bathroom, the other bathroom, their home office. And finally their living room. There was a huge white couch with two big armchairs, a beautiful dark coffee table. Their tv was massive, and a fake fireplace was placed against the wall. A bookcase with all kinds of books, and the room was decorated with some plants and candles.

''This place is stunning. So beautiful,'' Nina smiled.

We all sat down and took a seat.

''Wow, so much to talk about were do we even start,'' she chuckled.

We heard the door open and Carlos was entering with some shopping backs. He looked in the living room and he saw us all siting there.

We all put our drink on the table and stood up while he made his way towards us.

''It's good to see you again, thank you so much for having us here, and this place is incredible.''

He raised his glass and so did everyone.

We thanked them, and told them a bit about how we got together.

Daniela and Carlos talked with Isabela and Gerard for a bit. We didn't talk about anything swinging or sex related. We were just catching up with them. ''Wow, everything looks and smells so delicious,'' I smiled.

''We're glad you are here, and hopefully you like it. We're not professional chefs or anything, but we do love cooking and we enjoy preparing things like this,'' Carlos said.

He opened a bottle of wine and all poured us a glass.

''To all of us. I'm happy we are all here, and let's have a great night,'' Carlos said as he raised his glass.

We all raised our glasses and drank. We started eating and the chatting continued.

''Wow, so good to see you guys again. I guess a lot has happened for you two. I'm very happy for you guys. You both deserve to be happy and I'm happy you found each other,'' Daniela said to us.

''Thanks, I'm very happy too, I can't imagine being with someone else than her. She's the best thing that has ever happened to me. And she makes me the happiest man alive.''

Nina smiled,

''Aw, and he is the sweetest person I've ever met. I'm happy we are together. I think we complement each other very well.''

Daniela and Carlos smiled at each other,

We told them everything, and they were surprised.
