Finally, here it is. The long awaited return of the Hollywood series. I know that I had promised a new part for ages, but it was just so difficult to find time to write it since time has been so scarce to me. My priority still lies with the Ibiza story but I really enjoy the creative freedom I have writing this and I know that a lot of you enjoy reading it. A lot has changed since I made the decision to move to the United States and pursue my dreams in Hollywood. I joined the Hollywood film school last year in the hopes of making it big in the entertainment industry. After months of struggling to get work, I got a role in a Hugo Armand production. I moved into a three-bedroom penthouse on the top floor of a luxurious apartment building. And the best part, Lucy and Simon are my roommates now. We've been living here for a month now and I couldn't be happier. Lucy and I are both dating so it's nice to have the space to be alone with our partners, and Simon. Well Simon is still Simon so we see a new face appear in the apartment every other night.

Lucy is now an established model still working for Victoria. And she finally managed to get a big role in a up and coming movie. Simon managed to get an internship with Hugo thanks to Ava, and he has been doing really well. And my girlfriend, where do I even start. She released her new fashion brand together with famous Australian actress Charlotte Williams. It has been an immense succes and Ava is now one of the hottest young entrepreneurs in the world.

I sat on the couch overlooking the city as I watched the skyline. It's been a very busy couple of weeks and it's nice to finally have some time for myself and reflect on everything that happend for me to be here. We were seated in a corner and Simon ordered a bottle of champagne.

''Champagne? What are we celebrating?'' I asked.

Ava gave them all a hug before they left us alone.

''You can imagine,'' Simon responded.

''Stop it Simon, you are making James uncomfortable,'' Haley said.

''Thank you Haley, I appreciate that,'' I smiled.

''James, keep an eye on your watch. You have a meeting with Helen today right?'' Ava said.

''What time is your meeting?'' Simon asked.

I rolled my eyes again. But honestly, he has a bit of a point. She is objectively attractive, she is just one hell of a intimidating lady.

''I think we should get going,'' Ava said.

''Really? Already?'' Simon said.

''I mean, you can stay here while I drop of James at the agency. But you have to find a way back home yourselves,'' Ava said.

''That's fine, we'll get an Uber,'' Simon said.

''Come, let's go, I'll have to drop off something at our studio really quickly too,'' Ava said.

We said our goodbyes to Haley and Simon and got inside the car.

''She is so fucking pretty, Simon did really well for himself,'' Ava said.

''It's honestly good to see him with a girl for longer than a week. I think he really likes her. He even said that she is the best he ever had,'' I said.

''They are cute together, I hope it lasts.''

We drove towards Ava's photo studio first. It's was on the route to Helen's agency anyway so it didn't make any difference. Ava parked her car in the back of the building,

''Can you run inside and give this to Gustav quickly?''

''Gustav?'' I asked.

''Come on, our photographer. You have met him.''

''Ohhh, yeah of course, I'll be back,'' I said.

Gustav is a very established photographer and he has shot a lot of photos of Ava in the past. He is 66 years old and a real veteran of the Hollywood industry. Ava really liked him so she offered him a contract to become the main photographer of her new brand. He gladly accepted. He is really popular among the models because he isn't a creep, or doesn't give any creepy vibes. He is just a wholesome professional old man, in a industry with so many weirdos.

I walked inside her studio towards the reception.

''Hey James how are you?'' The man behind the desk asked.

''He is doing a shoot I think but you can just walk in. He is in the main studio to your right,'' he said.

I walked through the hallway towards the studio. I could hear the sounds of a photo shoot and saw the lights inside. The door was opened slightly so I decided to knock.

''Come in!'' I heard a voice say.

I opened the door and walked inside. I was shocked when I saw a beautiful ebony skinned woman with long dark curly hair in only a white set of lingerie.

I walked into the building and got in the elevator. I walked towards her office and knocked on her door.

I opened the door and Helen was sitting behind her desk. Her glasses were on the edge of her nose and she had her eyes locked on her computer. She looked up at me and sighed,

''Your late James,'' she said.

I looked at my watch,

''Uhm, it's 2:15,'' I said.

Helen looked up at me and squinted her eyes.

''I can read a clock,'' she said in a harsh tone.

''So, sit down. What do you want to discuss today?'' She asked.

''Uhm, I don't know, you were the one who scheduled this meeting.''

She looked at me again,

''I'm not your assistant. I'm your manager, not your secretary. If you have nothing to discuss, we are done here. Goodbye James, come back when you have something to tell me.''

I sighed,

''I thought we were going to talk about a new role,'' I said.

''Oh yeah that's right. I got a new offer for you that arrived yesterday. And you are going to take it,'' she said.

''Oh? Uhm, so what is the offer,'' I said.

She shoved the documents towards me,

''A tv show?'' I asked.

''Not just a TV Show, the Biggest Lies. The most popular show in the whole western world. People are obsessed with this show and it's still going. They need a new face and they contacted me about you. So, you are going to audition,'' she said.

Wait the Biggest Lies? That's the TV show were Ava's best friend is starring in, Madelyn.

''Okay, I honestly acting in movies,'' I said.

Helen looked up at me with fire in her eyes.

''James who do you think you are? You played in one movie and now you think you can choose where you want to act. You have the opportunity to star in a major show, that can skyrocket your career. Do you want to be known for one movie or do you want to become one of the most popular faces on screen?''

''But what is the role?''

''I'm not a fucking director I don't know. You read the script and you find out. If you don't take this role I will never represent you again.''

Jesus Christ. I thought my old boss Stacy at the coffeeshop was impossible to work with, but Helen is on an whole other level. But she is the best agent in Hollywood. She made so many actors and actresses into stars. I have to trust her.

''When is the audition?''

''Next week on Thursday. Two days after your premiere. Don't screw this up, they want you badly. The director personally emailed me to say that he has his eye on you for the role.''

I nodded and It felt silent for a couple of seconds.

''What are you still doing here?'' Helen snapped.

''Huh, nothing, bye,'' I said as I walked away.

As soon as I closed the door behind me, I took a deep breath. Damn she is scary. A Tv show? I never saw myself acting in a Tv show. I honesty rarely watch tv shows. I'm more of a movie guy. But it's not like I have a choice. Helen basically forced me to go and audition. Anyway, I'll see how it goes. Maybe it's good for me to broaden my horizon. I walked through the hallway back to the elevator when I ran into Franklin my accountant.

''James my man! How are you doing,'' he said as he shook my hand.

''Good Franklin, I'm doing good. How are you?''

''Good, good. Say, how is the new place? It's quite the upgrade from your dorm right,'' he chuckled.

''Oh, you have no idea. It's amazing.''

''The housing prices have risen a lot over the last few months, so financially you have done really well for yourself.''

Franklin is the one who keeps track of all my money. He is a great guy and a brilliant accountant.

''And the stocks I have bought for you have grown a lot. We should probably start looking into selling some of them.''

''I have absolutely no idea about stocks. If you think it's the right time to sell, go ahead,'' I said.

''I have also noticed that your monthly expenses have gone up. Which is normal because of your new luxurious lifestyle. But I'm going to need a copy of your expenses for the last couple of months so that I can keep track of everything. You don't want to spend more money than you have. If there are any major expenses coming up, please let me know, I can advise you the best way to pay it off, and so on. But for now, you are doing very well. You will make a fortune once you get some more brand deals when the movie is out.''

''I was thinking about buying a new car soon. Ava has been driving me around everywhere and I can't rely on taking taxis all the time.''

''Although a car is one of the worst investments you can make financially, it makes sense. Just don't go into a dealership and buy the latest brand new sportscar, that's not going to be wise.''

''I'll go to a dealership soon, I'll let you know,'' I said.

''Great! See you around!''

I got back into the elevator and made my way outside. I sent a message to Ava and within five minutes she was there.

''I got a new audition,'' I said.

''Of course, you should definitely go, it's a golden opportunity. Last season broke the record for most streams of any tv show ever. This show is crazy, it's the biggest thing on television right now. If you get this role, you are guaranteed stardom,'' Ava said.

''I just don't know if I want to be that famous,'' I said.

''But you always told me that your dream is to be one of the greatest actors in the world? That comes with fame. And besides, you can use this opportunity to gain more fans and more popularity. It can help you a lot with your career, and even with future projects.''

''I guess you're right. I'll see what happens. Are you free right now?'' I asked.

''Yes, I made sure that I haven't got any work. We have both been busy lately so I want to spend a lot of time with you this week. I'm going to treat you well tonight,'' she smirked.
