I grew up in a medium sized village in Belgium, I had a perfectly normal childhood. Nothing extraordinary, but nothing bad either. I didn't have any brothers or sisters, and I was raised by my mother and father. They were divorced when I was five and I had a normal relationship with both of them. Steven and I have been friends for as long as I can remember. We went to the same school, and we played football in the same team. We were inseparable, and we were always together. We did everything together, and we always had the same interests. He was my best friend and the closest person I had. We did everything together, and our parents were even friends.

We also went to the same high school but we both did a different direction. It works a bit different in Belgium. I went to do ASO, while Steven did TSO. ASO is more focused on theory, while TSO is a bit more practical and is a more hands-on learning environment. Like I told before, we were both a bit quiet and reserved. But Steven changed a lot in high school, he started to work out, losing weight, we both got tall and he became a lot more social. We still shared the same friend group and we hung out with the same people.

I had this girl in my class that I was kind of into, her name was Lisa. She was cute, but I was too shy to approach her and I always thought that she was way out of my league. Lisa was outgoing, funny, and a bit flirty. I always saw her around with this one guy and I assumed they were dating but I later found out that he wasn't into women. Lisa is blonde with brown eyes, and she has a beautiful face. She was pretty athletic, and she played hockey. Her body was slim and toned, but still very feminine. She had these big, full and soft lips that looked absolutely kissable. We talked a few times, and I really wanted to ask her out but never found the courage too.

Steven and I still played football in highschool and we used to go for a beer and party in the evening every Saturday after our game. One of those evenings one of our team was throwing a party and he invited a lot of people from our school. That night Steven saw Lisa and it was love at first sight for him. He approached her and they hit it off. They danced and flirted with each other the whole night and the rest is history. Steven and Lisa dated the whole last year of high school and are still dating to this day. I was a tiny bit jealous at first but they were perfect for each other. Lisa was just the girl that Steven needed and vice versa. Sometimes when your best friend gets a girlfriend, it's hard. You lose him a bit, and he doesn't have as much time for you anymore. Lisa was the opposite of me. She was a very outgoing and social girl, and she had a lot of friends. We used to hang out together in a group a lot, and I was always hanging around her. It wasn't weird though, it felt like we came best friends and it's always nice when the girlfriend of your best friend likes you and is easy to get along with.

After we graduated high school, Lisa and I went to the same university but we both did different studies. Steven decided that he wanted to travel the world so he took a gap year, and was saving up some money. After he saved up enough money, so he good go on a trip to the other side of the world.

''Hey man, I'm throwing a party before I leave. You have to come,'' Steven told me.

''Sure, what's the plan?''

''Just a regular party at Lisa's place, I think around twenty people.''

''Cool, see you then.''

This was going to be one of the last times I'm going to see Steven before he leaves. I was really sad, I knew that it was only for a year, but it was still going to be weird. I was so used to him being around all the time and now he was going to leave for a whole year. I hadn't made that many friends at Uni so it was going to be pretty boring without him. I wanted to buy him a nice present before he left, and I knew exactly what he wanted. A brand-new camera, so he could take some pictures on his trip. He was really into photography, and I thought it was a perfect gift for him. It was a bit expensive though so I hit up Lisa and together with some other people we knew, we pitched in to buy him the gift.

I also bought a bottle of rum for the party, and a bottle of vodka. The legal drinking age in Belgium is lower than in most countries at sixteen but for stronger spirits you had to be eighteen. I recently turned eighteen, and everyone at Steven's party was the same age as well. Steven had his party at Lisa's student house or as we call it in Belgium, her kot. Steven still lived at his parents' place as it would be a bit of a waste to have your own place when you would be gone for a whole year.

I arrived a bit later because I had to work, and the party was in full swing. People were dancing, drinking, and partying. There were a lot of people from school there, and I even spotted a few girls that I really liked.

''Timooooo!!!'' Lisa screamed as soon as she saw me.

''What do you have there?'' she asked as she opened the plastic bag that I was holding.

''Some drinks,''

I followed her and put the bags on the table. The kitchen was filled with people, and a bunch of coolers with drinks in it. Lisa opened the fridge and pulled out a bottle of beer and handed it over to me.

''Thank you,'' I said.

''Let's find Steven so we can give him his present,'' Lisa suggested.

Lisa's student house was pretty big, she lived together with 9 other people. She had her own room and the living room was huge. We walked through the hallway and back into the living room. We were surrounded by people, and the music was loud. There were a lot more people than the twenty that Steven said there was going to be. Lisa introduced me to some of her roommates, and I was getting a tour of the house. Although Lisa and I were good friends, I've never been in her place before. After looking for a bit, we finally found Steven playing a drinking game at the dining table.

''Timoooo, you made it,'' Steven said.

Steven and I embraced and hugged,

''Man, I'm going to miss you,'' I said.

''Don't start crying Timo, come let's drink something,''

Lisa stopped the music for a bit, and called for Steven's attention.

''Steven, we all got you a little something as a going away present.''

Steven looked surprised,

''You did? Oh my god, you guys, you shouldn't have.''

Lisa handed him a wrapped up package,

''Open it!''

Steven took the package, and he unwrapped the gift. He opened the box and his jaw dropped,

''Oh my god, oh my god. Guys, I can't believe it. It's beautiful. Oh my god, you guys. Thank you, thank you, thank you so much.''

He was speechless, and he was in love with the gift. He was jumping up and down, and he hugged everybody.

''This is the best present ever, you guys are the best. Timo, you are the best.''

He put the camera on, and took a picture of himself,

''Look, it looks so good on me,''

We all laughed, and Steven took another shot.

''I'm so happy you guys, thank you. I can't wait to capture all the beauty in this world.''

''And I have another surprise for you,'' Lisa said.

Steven looked at her,

''There's more?''

''Well, you know that you wanted me to join you on the trip. Well, I can't come for the whole trip but I can come for a couple of months.''

Steven screamed and hugged her.

''That's the best news ever, thank you, baby. Thank you, I can't wait to go on a trip with you. We are going to have the best time.''

Everybody started cheering and the music started playing again. Steven and Lisa were kissing and the party continued. The night was fun, and we were having a blast. I was chatting with some of Lisa's roommates, and they were pretty cool. I thought that I was hitting it off with one of them, but I later found out that she had a boyfriend and that she was just being nice. I had a few more drinks, and I was a bit drunk. At some point, I was looking for a place to pee, and I went upstairs to see if there was a bathroom up there. On my way, I saw a bunch of doors and the light was out. It was a dark hallway, and I stumbled upon a random room. My drunk ass thought this was a bathroom and I stepped in. It was dark, and it was hard to see anything. When I walked in the room, I realized that it was occupied. There was moaning coming from the bed and I thought I saw a girl on top.

I suddenly heard a voice,

''Is someone there?''

''Sorry, I'm looking for the bathroom.''

Fuck, I thought as I quickly closed the door and ran to the end of the hall. I just walked into two people having sex. The bathroom was empty, and I quickly peed. This was such an embarrassing moment, but thankfully nobody noticed. I finished peeing and I was walking back to the party and I noticed that Steven and Lisa were nowhere to be found. I went to the kitchen, and they were no longer there. I looked in the living room, and they weren't there either. I never got an answer but I was pretty sure that I walked in on Lisa and Steven. The fact that I was drunk made it all a bit fuzzy and I could be mistaken.

I had a few more drinks and the party continued. Steven and Lisa eventually reappeared, but I didn't want any awkward conversations, so I didn't bring it up. I got really drunk and I can't remember how the night ended. The next morning, I woke up with a terrible hangover. I was sleeping on the couch, and my head was killing me. It was already noon and the sun was burning. I grabbed a glass of water, and I checked if the bathroom was occupied. I went inside and washed my face, and the water felt amazing. My mouth tasted like shit and it felt like my tongue was glued to my gums. I drank the whole glass of water, and I was feeling a bit better. I went downstairs and Lisa and Steven were making coffee.

''Good morning sunshine,'' Steven joked.

''It's already noon,''

''Yeah, but we didn't wake up too long ago ourselves,'' Lisa said.

I sat down at the kitchen table and Lisa poured me a cup of coffee.

''Thanks,''

I sipped from the coffee and it felt amazing.

''Last night was fun, we were up till 6 am, and you fell asleep on the couch so we put a blanket on you and went to bed,'' Steven explained.

''Thanks for putting me up, I don't think I would have been able to walk home last night.''

''No problem, you've done it for us plenty of times,'' Steven replied.

The three of us finished our coffee and we had some breakfast. Lisa was wearing a loose top, and she didn't wear a bra. The top was hanging on her body and her nipples were clearly visible. She was wearing some baggy shorts and she looked absolutely beautiful.

''I can't believe that I'm not going to see you for a whole year,'' Steven said.

''You are going to miss me so much, admit it.''

''Nah, but we will keep in touch with each other, we can call and FaceTime and shit,'' Steven said.

''Yeah, we should, like at least every week,'' I said.

''Of course, man. I want to hear all about what's going on, and if you are going to find a girlfriend at Uni, and I need to keep you updated on my adventure around the world.''

I laughed,

''I don't think a lot of stuff is going to happen, but you will be the first to know.''

''We keep in touch, I'm sure of it.''

In the end, it was a lot harder to keep in touch than we thought. After the first few months, Steven had a lot going on and he was busy all the time with his traveling. The fact that he didn't have internet all the time and that he was in a completely different time zone made it even harder. Our weekly FaceTime calls turned into monthly phone calls, and it became hard to keep track. We tried to keep in touch the best that we could, but life happens. When I arrived at the resort I barely spoke to him anymore so I didn't keep him up to date with everything that happened here, so he was going to be in for a surprise.

The taxi door opened and Steven and Lisa came running out. I couldn't believe my eyes, and it felt so surreal. I hadn't seen Steven for so long and the fact that he was here felt a bit unreal. It was like my old life and my new life were colliding and it felt weird.

Steven and I embraced, and we hugged. It was so good to see him, and he looked amazing. His hair was a lot longer and he had a bit of a beard. He gained a bit of muscle and he looked really good,

''Jesus Timo, you are tan, man. The Spanish weather seems a lot better than back home huh?''

I laughed,

''Yeah, a bit better.''

''Timo, I missed you so much man. It's so good to see you,''

Lisa joined in and gave me a hug as well,

''Good to see you, Timo. It's been a while huh?''

''Yeah, way too long.''

I looked at her, and she looked great even better than the last time I saw her. She too had an incredible tan, and her hair was a bit lighter.

''This is my girlfriend Nina,'' I said to them both.

Steven and Lisa greeted her,

''It's so nice to meet you, you are gorgeous, Timo. Way to go man,'' Lisa said.

''It's amazing to meet you guys, can't wait to hear what Timo was like back in Belgium,'' Nina joked.

''Let us take your bags, we will show you the way,'' I said.

The four of us walked up to the entrance and both Lisa and Steven were in awe.

''This is beautiful, man. I can't believe this is where you are working,''

''Yeah, I can't either sometimes.'' I laughed.

Lisa and Nina walked in front of us and they seemed to hit it off really quickly. I walked behind them with Steven, and he was still looking around, taking it all in.

''Great to see you again man, we have a lot to catch up on.''

''Yeah, we do. But first, let's get you settled and have a drink, how does that sound?''

''Perfect, I could use a drink right now. And maybe a quick shower, that plane was packed and I feel like shit. How are the rooms?''

''The rooms are good, they are big, and the bathrooms are awesome.''

''Man, who would have thought, you finally managed to get a girlfriend,'' Steven joked.

I punched him in his side and laughed,

''Shut up, man. And yeah, I'm very lucky.''

''She's gorgeous, man. You are one lucky guy, and you have a nice job. Man, this is the life, huh?''

We walked past reception and Julia waved at us with a lovely smile, I introduced her to Steven and Lisa and we kept on walking.

''Damn, she is cute, are all the girls here so hot?''

''Pretty much, yeah. They are all very nice as well.''

''You must be loving this, Timo. This is the dream, huh?''

I laughed,

''What? Working here, and meeting all these beautiful women. Yeah, it's amazing, I'm loving every minute of it.''

Steven laughed and the four of us arrived at our room,

''We put a mattress on the floor for you guys. It's not the most comfortable thing but it will do,'' I said.

''Don't worry, we slept on a lot worse, trust me. We are happy that we can stay here. The room looks amazing, thanks, man.''

We showed them our the room and the bathroom,

''Wow, that's a big shower you could easily fit like four people in there,'' Lisa said.

Nina and I looked at each other and grinned,

''You definitely can,'' I said jokingly but Nina and I both knew that I was speaking from experience.

Steven and Lisa were unpacking, and they were telling us all about their trip. They told us stories about the crazy stuff that happened and the great people that they met. It was an amazing story, and the world seemed a lot bigger and a lot more accessible when Steven told us about it.

''It was just incredible, the way that people were so open and willing to share their life with a complete stranger was mind-blowing. In the city's, people were really helpful, and we were surprised at how cheap everything was. We had such a great time, and the best part was that we saved a lot of money because we were staying with locals. It's the best way to travel, I highly recommend it.''

''Shall we show you around the resort a bit more and then grabs a drink?'' I asked.

Steven and Lisa looked at each other and Lisa answered,

''Sure, but I'm going to take a quick shower first if you don't mind. The plane ride was a bit gross, and I'm sticky and sweaty.''

''Yeah, of course, you can use the bathroom,''

I grabbed a towel from the closet,

''Here's a towel, let me know if you need anything else,''

''I'm going to have a shower too, don't worry we'll be quick and won't hog the shower,''

We laughed as they walked into the bathroom and closed the door.

''Wow, they are so nice, I like them a lot. They are both super hot as well,'' Nina said.

''They say friends are the best reflection of ourselves right,'' I joked.

Nina playfully slapped my arm and laughed.

''We won't be getting a lot of privacy with them sleeping here huh?'' Nina said.

I hadn't even thought about that, we've gotten so used to having sex in front and with our friends that I forgot that we can't do that with them in our room.

''I'm sure that Sofia and Luca are more than happy to rent their room to us,'' I said.

''We'll just sneak off and fuck in the shower, like they are doing right now,'' Nina teased.

''You think they are fucking in there right now?''

''I don't know, you know them better than I do.''

Although I possibly walked in on them fucking, I don't think they are going at it right now. Steven always said to me that they didn't like anywhere else than in their bed, so I didn't think that they would have sex in our shower. A couple of minutes later the bathroom opened and they reappeared so I don't think they were having sex. They both changed their clothes, and Lisa's hair was still wet, and she put on a summer dress while Steven was wearing some shorts and a shirt.

''Is this, okay? This place looks really fancy,'' Lisa said.

I both reassured them,

''No, you are good, everyone dresses pretty casual here.''

''I love your dress, by the way, it looks so good on you,'' Nina said.

We left our room, and the four of us started walking. We showed them the restaurant first, and the staff waved at us.

''Wow, the food smells amazing, and the place is beautiful,'' Lisa said.

We went outside and showed them around the pool before walking to the spa and the beach. After our short tour we sat down at the bar to grab some nice cold drinks.

''Wow, this place is incredible. And is it me or are all the guests like extremely attractive?'' Lisa said.

Nina laughed,

''They are, you have to go to a screening process before they are allowed in here. That's why you see so many hot people all the time.''

''Do we have to do that too?'' Lisa asked.

''No, Timo talked to our boss so that you guys could stay over, but you would have crushed the screening process for sure,'' Nina said.

Both Steven and Lisa were blushing,

''Awh thank you, you are so sweet and all the staff are so beautiful too,'' Lisa teased.

''But this is a swinger resort right?'' Steven said.

''Yeah,'' I nervously replied.

''No, these are friends from back home. Nathalie, this is Steven and Lisa. Steven and Lisa, this is Nathalie. She works with me behind the bar.''

We shook hands and exchanged greetings.

''Well, it's nice to meet you two. I hope you enjoy your stay, and don't hesitate to ask for anything. Is this your first time at a swinger resort?''

''So, you guys met each other here, right? Tell us the story, I want to hear everything,'' Lisa said.

We looked at each other and smiled,

''We'll it's kind of a long story but yeah, we did meet here. I worked here last year too and this year there were a lot of new people coming in. Timo was one of them, and he was so awkward, and shy, but he grew a lot during the summer and we became really good friends. I had a boyfriend at the start of the summer, but we broke up and Timo and I clicked so well that we started dating,'' Nina said.

We told them a longer version of the story but we decided to keep all the swinging parts out of it. It felt a bit awkward for me to talk about that with them. I knew that I had to tell them at some point but I just felt this wasn't the time yet.

''So, you two must be Timo's friends,'' a voice suddenly said.

We looked to our side and saw Isabela standing there,

''I'm Isabela, I'm their boss. It's so nice to meet you.''

They introduced themselves,

''This is Steven, and this is Lisa. They are old friends from Belgium.''

She smiled,

''Well, it's so nice to meet you guys. Just so you know, I normally don't let guests stay here without booking a room unless it's someone's partner but I made an exception for Timo because he helped me out. So, don't go around telling people that you are staying here for free and behave.''

''That is very kind of you, and we appreciate it. Thank you so much,'' Steven said.

Isabela smiled and walked away, and both Steven and Lisa couldn't help but stare,

''Wow, she is one of the most beautiful women that I've ever seen, Jesus. And she's the boss? This is a whole other level,'' Lisa said.

''She is incredible, she used to be a model before opening this place,''

''Fuck, I need a job here too!'' Steven joked.

''What? Am I not good enough for you?'' Lisa asked, pretending to be offended.

Steven hugged her,

''You are perfect baby, don't worry. I'm kidding,''

''So, what are the plans for the weekend? We don't want to crash your party,'' Steven asked.

''No, we are really happy that you are here. Today we were thinking to relax and catch up, we can go into town tonight for diner and have a stroll. Is there anything you guys want to do?'' I asked.

''Sounds good, we would love to explore the island for a bit, maybe we can rent a car and go on a short road trip or something?'' Steven suggested.

''Sounds like a plan, we can also rent a boat and get out on the water. There are so many possibilities here, we'll figure something out,''

''Can we go to the beach this afternoon?'' Lisa asked.

Nina answered,

''Sure, we can go here or go somewhere else.''

''I think here is fine for today, we can just chill on the beach catch up and hang out,''

We were all in agreement, and we had a nice chat with our friends, and we told them a little more about the island and the things we have done. We finnished our drinks and went back to our room to get changed.

''Oh, I'm sorry, you guys can use the bathroom to change,'' I said.

They nodded, grabbed their stuff and went into the bathroom.
