If it wasn't for the engine overheating issues, we'd be even more almost there. We've stopped in Port San Luis to ask for help - In our typical fashion, creeped in at night, emerged from the fog.
The landscape has changed from the lush forestful coasts of British-Columbia, to the arid dust dunes of California.
Second Officers, the Oquonie stickers (and other secret gifts) have been shipped out, expect them soon.

2016-10-11 08:49:43 +0000 UTCeverything always works out somehow, we're okay. We were freaking out coming into the harbour last night, cold, tired, wet and disoriented but still. It was an interesting experience, and now we are safely moored and we'll try and fix the engine issue before leaving.
