I grew up with the Swallows and Amazons books and fell in love with the idea of sailing. A few years back I started reading through the Hornblower books and they reminded me of the idea. Finding your travels have reawakened that in me yet again! Did either of you have any previous experiences that lead you to making sailing a part of your lives?

James Hagerman

We're vegan. We don't feel it's any harder than living on land really, so far we can easily get anything we need. Neither of us grew up fishing, it was never part of our lives. As for sewage, for now we're still docked so we use marina toilets. Otherwise you can go over to pump out stations to deal with that :).

Hundred Rabbits

Are any of you vegetarian? If so, how do you feel about living at the sea and not being 'able' to fish? How do you deal with sewage?

Cauli Tomaz

It depends, but we'll try to stay a month each time.

Hundred Rabbits

How often do you think you'll sail about, around, or away?

Matthieu Loose

Every time.

When looking out the window at night, do you sometimes pretend you're on a spaceship? Be honest.

We've left the DK2 in montreal for now. We're not sure if we can do VR for now, we removed the goal as it relied on us going to GDC in March, which we cannot do. We should have a post up if anything comes up!

Here's some details about the camera. <a href="http://wiki.xxiivv.com/Cameras" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">http://wiki.xxiivv.com/Cameras</a>

1. What cameras do each of you use? 2. You have a DK2. Do you plan on many anything VR at last?

There is also a sales tax of 12% of the cost of the boat. Which means it cost more like 42,560$.

Hundred Rabbits

Just curious - was the cost of the boat including HST etc or did you still have to pay that on top of the $38k?

Moving to Vancouver from Montreal, we sold most of our things. We carried with us: laptops, cameras, our two bikes, bike tools and a few kitchen things. We have been trying to be minimalist in our needs, and in the things we need to work happily. Knowing that we were to live in a small space, we limited the things that we bought a year prior to the move.

What are the things you took with you to help your creative/digital endeavours including for example tools, pens and other paraphernalia that you use on a daily or weekly basis? Or even maybe decoration that you can't miss on your desk while working? Not really related to you guys maintaining a liveaboard lifestyle, but what programs and languages do you use to aid you in your digital endeavours?
