I remember watching this one as a 10 year old. The faces of those "Clockwork droids" were just so creepy to 10 year old me. It was a choice between them and the weeping angels for which were the creepiest creatures in the Tennant era. However I suppose the clockwork droids didn't have me looking at every single mannequin in the history museums to make sure they weren't alive! You'll understand the context of this comment eventually. Once you do, come back to this comment and then give your verdict on which was the creepiest! ๐๐

2023-08-25 08:30:45 +0000 UTCHave you got a source for this? I've never heard these cheating allegations before. For one, all sources I can find say David and Sophia met for the first time when making this episode and started dating afterwards so they weren't dating at the time and I can't find a source saying they were ever engaged. They broke up in 2007 right after Sophia moved to America for the sake of work she'd been offered, and David's mother passed away from cancer, these being the 2 main factors I see sites mention about their breakup. And then the sources I can find on David and Georgia's relationship say they didn't meet until 2008 the following year, once again meeting each other for the first time through the show.

2023-08-24 22:29:05 +0000 UTCWhat an episode gets to me every time one of my all time favorites, I am also glad to see you will be returning to School Reunion not so much for the story but the reintroduction of a couple of characters from the past, thank you.

2023-08-24 20:58:56 +0000 UTCDid anyone else experience stuttering in this upload? I don't know if it is this site or my comp, but i'm not having issues with any other site, just this one.

2023-08-24 19:27:17 +0000 UTCThis was the episode after School Reunion, which sort of setup Mickey being on the Tardis, and Rose starting to realise the Dr has other relationships. It's a great episode, hope you are going to cover it.

2023-08-24 17:29:48 +0000 UTCI love this episode. It's so emotive. They really start to play with the loneliness of the Doctor from this point on. Sophia Myles, the actress that played Madame de Pompadour, was actually David Tennant's fiancรฉ at the time so I think that really adds to the chemistry they've got together. Sadly he cheated on her with and then left her for another actress who pops up in a later series (nobody say who or it'll ruin the episode)
