2025-06-28 02:24:00 +0000 UTCBrandon I’ll put it this way………Demon slayer and JJK would be virtually non existent if it wasn’t for bleach……bleach itself laid the foundation for those shows as well as my hero and black clover in which Ron mentioned……and coming from a guy who’s watched anime since the late 90s and early 2000s bleach is without question one of the strongest power systems in anime history (you can ask Ron he’ll tell you)

2025-06-27 05:12:46 +0000 UTCThis whole show is litty mcgiddy! It's awesome how many times you can watch and get something new out of it. To me AOT is in a genre separate from the standard anime. It's more in line with Vinland Saga and Berserk. All stories that get away from power ups and hype moments to explore deeper topics. I agree with Ron in the sense that the more you watch anime (shonen specifically) the more you notice the story beats, power moments and anticipate what's going to happen. AOT will always be goated though!

2025-06-26 11:16:57 +0000 UTCOut of what ive seen so far...AOT, Naruto, and Demon Slayer, here's how I see it: AOT is known for the plot/narrative depth and realist style of animation. The story is great, especially with how things build over time. (Season 3 is my favorite, some argue Season 4 is the best, but easily debated as youll eventually see) Naruto has a solid plot too, but it really shines in how it handles so many different characters and pulls on a bunch of strings/elements people can relate to along with how much depth the world has, like Ron said, and it knows how to make you care about the world and certain characters (except for 1 in particular ;) LOL #westandwithRon). Demon Slayer is known for its TOP tier modern animation style, like visually its on another level compared to other anime and just showcases how far anime has come as a genre. The story is more straightforward, but its easy to get into. idk if Demon Slayer will be in my top 3 once i watch other animes, but Naruto will always be my #1 (been watching since 2005 in kindergarten lol, got a poster ive kept from 2005 from Naruto universe) and im sure AOT will stay in my top 3 for a long time.
